Dirty Birds, San Diego CA

We got an order of wings to go while visiting from out of town and let me tell you they had some of the best wings I’ve ever had! We got an order of 20 with medium heat buffalo sauce and the wings were perfect and the sauce was delicious. There was a little mix up on our order with the type of wings we wanted (half flats and half drums and they gave us all drums). But they took care of me and fixed the issue after I went back and let them know so thank you very much for that! If you are looking for a great wing place in San Diego definitely give this place a try, I haven’t had wings this good in a long time.

Didn’t actually sit and eat. I understand that it would be difficult seating since there was no availability right away. I was willing to wait. But for the staff to actually take a single table and place it in the entrance corridor for us to sit was disrespectful. There was no one else sitting in that area. I don’t think it’s a good idea to sit Hispanics by the entrance in a desolate area and not look discriminatory. Hard pass.

Katie and Marassol are amazing! This place is where you want to be on the brightest of days or cloudiest days! Can’t wait for the week

Service and food was top notch. Wings were a big and cooked correctly. Price is a little high, but they have specials everyday so you can find more value. Will definitely be back.

Best wings in SD! I got to meet the owner one day just sitting at the bar, this guy offered to buy me a drink and thanked me for coming in. Very cool guy and he has some cool stories about how he came up with the different sauces.

Used to be better or I came on a bad day twice. Disappointed, cold wings, over fried, and not as tasteful. I live in LA and come down to dirty birds as a treat. Probably not anymore.

These wings hands down are the best wings I’ve ever eaten. My husband pulled me in here while we were walking towards the beach. I am SO HAPPY he did. The best sauces I’ve ever tasted (highly recommend the honey hot and mango habanero) and the wings are perfectly sauced with the perfect amount. And the wings themselves were perfectly cooked. Im never going to be satisfied with other wings from national chains again.

Great food. Seems like a good crew runs this place too. Tried Ja-Colby Burger with tots and I loved it. The service was also awesome.

Very nice variety of art and dope they support locals.

Whoever the bartender was Feb. 6th has the worst customer service ever. I ordered a mai tai hard drink to mess up, & a basic drink every bartender should know how to make. It was horrible. Then I waited for like an hour (not exaggerating) while trying to order some food and another drink. It was like 9: 30 pm not busy at all. She told me I needed to eat some food before I could order another drink, which I would of ate an hour ago had she of taken my order, I wasn't even drunk. From the door I felt unwelcome and unwanted. Probably will never be back because the service was unbelievably bad. I work in the restaurant industry too, & am just baffled at how bad her customer service, serving, & bartending was

BEST WINGS EVER! We visited from MN for 1 week and kept coming back for these wings. The Dirty Ranch is so good I had to buy a bottle for my friends to try at home. Unbelievably tasty!

Courtney was extremely rude to us tonight.
I tried to get her attention by waving my hand out due to the loud background music. She blurted out, "I have eyes" and walked away.
When she delivered our takeout to the table, she abruptly dropped our meals on the table with a loud "plop. "
I was shocked, but I also understand that since the COVID-19 pandemic, experienced table servers are "hard to come by. "
My suggestion is to avoid Courtney and directly order from the bartender.
. Embarrassed for her. She needs training or to seek a different career.
The bar food was acceptable, not great!

Please know that they refuse to answer their phones when they are “busy”. You can’t get sliders individually. You must pay full price for three sliders, around 18.00 for the meal, which consists of them adding just French fries. I cant recommend choosing another place to order food from highly enough. One star rating only due to the fact that 0 stars isn’t an option.

Awesome wings. I like the spicy garlic and Diablo. Just wish that wing prices would come down (currently a global problem) as it's just too expensive right now.

First off, great service. Well taken care of. The CHOICES.over 35 different flavors. The tenderness of the chicken is 10/10. A friend got his tenders extra crispy and I think they were the best tenders I've ever had.

It's Ok. It's a sports bar.but way too loud for such small place. Wings are good, but overpriced. Nothing special about place.
