Discount Tire, San Diego CA

I had a tire repair done on a 45 series runflat (slow leak-never flat) by Danny on the touchless machine. Great job repairing the tire and not scratching my 20" rim. He tightened all wheels with a torque wrench and wiped all clean after checking the other tires for any road shrapnel.
I typically go to the highest rated local Tire Rack recommended installer to protect my wheels.

We will go back to Discount Tire Miramar for our next set of high performance tires thanks to their excellent Covid curbside/phone check-in and superb (!) service by Danny. Thank you!

Good quick service for there being 5 cars ahead of me but thats what happens when you arrive an hour before they close. They were great though, no attitudes and still being very professional

I hit an evil pot hole and blew out my tire. I work close to this particular Discount Tire store and was able to get there. I met with a gem Dillon, who was able to reassure me that everything would be okay. They didn’t have my particular tires but loaned me a comparable one until mine were ordered/delivered. Thank you Dillon! I highly recommend this establishment.

I love this place. Nice group. The wait today was longer then I was told, about double. But, otherwise great place. Will keep coming!

I've gone to many and I've always used entrusted their services.like any franchise it depends who you're speaking with directly in the team at that location. This team here is great I never have to wait very long they are very professional and courteous.

Service techs were nice and polite. Didn't try to push a sale that much (they have to it's their job). Helped show me that my wheels were not factory even though they looked factory (new to me car) and found appreciate tires for that within my budget and I felt comfortable with.

Firestone was cheaper. They told me the price of the tire and I paid that price. Funny though, discount had the same price but a lot of last minute fees making the total over $100 more than Firestone. Will not be returning.

1972 in Tempe Ariz, one of Discounts first stores, was where and when I first purchased my first new tires from Discount tires. I’ve been very happy ever since. I just put Michelin pilot super sports on my Porsche 911. What a great performance tire! Professional service, great products and very competitive prices. What else could you want?

The only reason I had a good experience here was cuz I got there at 8 a.m. Before they took any appointments. I had traveled the three other places within the last three days and they were all three to five hours wait to have a tire repair. Not fully satisfied because of how many times I had to go in order to figure out that I needed to be there at 8 a.m. To be served in a timely fashion.

This place is the best. They went way above and beyond to get me back on the road! Thanks guys. I really appreciate everything!

Just amazing staff here! Professional, friendly, and Quick. I came in as a walk-in to get my puncture tire fix. Not only did they do it for FREE, which was surprising but they also did it very quickly without an appointment. Also the waiting room was cozy, had free wifi, and I could see them working on my car. So cool! I had such a great experience there and wanted to tip them, to which the employee refused and just asked to right a review if I wanted to help. Just absolute class people here. Will definitely be buying my tires here in the future! Thanks James and the Discount Tire Team, you guys are all studs <3

This a great place for tire maintenance. Everyone that brings their car here knows it.

What I am very greatful and thankful about this particular shop is that Senior Manager Byron gave me the best customer service I could ever ask for. At 3pm as I clocked out from work and walked towards my car I realize that I had a flat tire. I called my car insurance just like anyone else would have for car to be towed.

As I reached out to my insurance for an update they informed me that tow truck couldn't find me and it left due to given the wrong address location. That was around 4pm. At this time I had already called twice to Discount tire. This second time I spoke with Byron thinking I was calling the insurance company and expressing my frustration and explaining how bad my anxiety was getting. Second tow truck didn't arrive till 5: 30pm. By this time I had already called Byron 4 times and he told me it was still fine to bring my car in. We didn't arrive till 5 minutes before closing time and he had my car fixed the same night knowing how bad I needed my tire to be fixed and the need to get home to my kids.

I am very greatful to know that people like Byron still exist in this world and that go above and beyond for someone like me. On my way to discount tire I would just hear the truck driver saying how they would turn me away from their service and would be stuck with a flat tire.

As a single mother of two kids. I am really thankful for his kind heart and great team he had with him at that time. Thank you all guys for your time and patience.

I got home and kids asked what are you cooking for dinner lol. Thank you Byron for all that you do and the team. You are all appreciated.

The team at the Miramar Road location has been phenomenal. Randy has been such a great help and is very knowledgeable. I will be back to this location for future tire needs.

Visited here to solve problem with tires. Great experience and I got my tires fixed pretty quick! A little pricey though.

Arrived 12 minutes before the shop closed and were able to fix the tire in less than 10 minutes.

ABSOLUTE LIFE SAVERS! Thank you, James! I'm traveling from Colorado, had 4 kiddos in the car and a nail in my tire! James told me he could pull it into bay immediately, but it could take up to an hour. Ricardo and crew worked their magic, even cleaning our tires and had us out the door in 20 minutes! All the staff were friendly and the location is very clean. If I lived here, I'd give them ALL my business. Definitely recommend! Thanks again!

Quite simply the easiest, best quick fix for a tire I've ever had. Awesome communicative staff and chill waiting area. Definitely coming back~ Didn't need an appt either. Woot!

I ordered tires and had to call to follow up on delivery. I scheduled an appointment for installation and confirmed turnaround time is about approximately an hour. I dropped off my vehicle and returned an hour and 30 minutes after. The vehicle had not been serviced and I needed it so I had to reschedule the appointment. This location has been good in the past, I’m not sure what the cause is for the poor scheduling and lack of follow up.

Ask for Don. He is one of the most down to earth and customer centric person I have ever met in the tire business.clone that guy!
