Definitely worth it to stay here. My kids are older and still had a great time. The staff is what made it so great. We have been to Disney many times this is the first time we have stayed at a Disney hotel. We're already planning our next trip and are planning on trying to get a room at the hotel.

Excellent stay! Of the 3 resorts, Paradise Pier has always been my kids’ favorite because we love the view of California Adventure. (Yes, it’s worth the upgrade for the premium view!) I was worried with the reviews about construction, but not once were we bothered. The regular elevators are back open, and the hotel felt much less busy than in the past, so we never waited for an elevator. I believe they’ve begun renovating some of the rooms because half of floor 14 and floor 15 were closed. The new lobby is BEAUTIFUL, and we can’t wait to see what looks to be a cafe/quick service pastry area open next visit. For now, the self-serve market fit our needs, and although pricey, a few Downtown Disney restaurants will deliver free to the lobby if you don’t feel like going out. We loved the new gift shop featuring Pixar items. The pool area looks almost complete, but they still have a lot of work to do on the rest of the rooftop deck. The Pixar ball pillows on the beds are super cute, so we’re anxious to see the new rooms.

As always, the cast members were stellar. We were welcomed upon arrival and given excellent service upon check-in, including double-checking where all the guest laundry options were located at the Grand. (If you need to do laundry, see a cast member at the Grand, who will give you a key card for access.) There were always several cast members greeting us and available to address any questions or concerns. Our room was serviced every day by the time we returned for afternoon breaks from the parks.

As someone who has stayed at several resorts near Disneyland (on and off property), this one will continue to be our favorite because of the park view, proximity to the magic, and the incredible cast. Don’t let the construction scare you away!

OmG! Family vacation this year decided to go all out and book a vacation package here and we were so comfortable even though we only came to the room to bathe and sleep. The a/c was quite the beds were so comfy we even had house keeping clean our room without us needing to call! Front desk was helpful when we asked for directions to different places besides the parks! The only complaint I have is there is no elevator in the self parking so we had to take our luggage down and up the garage! We did however check in early and they texted us when our room was ready though we didn't come back to the hotel till night the bell man took our luggage that they store for us up to our room! They are doing renovation to the hotel and they only work during day light so we weren't there we never noticed! They dont have a restaurant since they are renovating but they do have some grab and go stuff there! So far their new them which will be pixar looks awesome! The hotel is across the street from disney California adventure park just cross the street and swipe the room keys to take the shortcut through the disney resort hotel straight in to the park no line no waiting! Amazing stay! Didnt take any pics due to being excited to be there!

Paradise Pier was the last of the Disney Themed Hotels we visited throughout the years, each great in their own right. We loved everything about this Disney hotel from The Summery Beach decor to the wonderful views of California Adventure. The staff at the hotel like all Disney employees are very kind and courteous and very helpful from the time we checked-in till the time we checked-out.

We have always been “Disney” people and decides to try out DisneyLand. We weren’t sure about the three hotels but figured we would try this one. We were pleased with the location; it was a breeze to get to both California Adventure and DisneyLand parks.

Despite the construction for refurbishment, we were overall very happy with the hotel and would definitely be willing to visit again when construction is complete

Pools were closed but they shuttled us to the other pools as needed. Overall great experience.

Performing a fire alarm test at 9am when most of your guests don’t get to sleep until well past 1am is not a smart move. We don’t appreciate the horrible wake-up call. Following it up 15 minutes later with a ‘completed’ message just ensure those that got back to sleep are woke again.

This was the equivalent of staying at the circus circus in Vegas and that’s NOT a compliment. It’s beyond old, smelly, run down and they still charge Disney prices. I should have gone with my gut feeling and booked the Westin near by! Shame on you Disney! I expect more from you. This will be the last time I stay at a Disney property…don’t blame the construction, or lack of pool or room service. This place was a dump before and to sell it as a “Disney resort”
Is misleading and insulting. It’s disgusting and no better then a roach motel.

Overall, we had a great time. We spent two nights at this hotel and enjoyed the friendliness of staff. I had a concern and they addressed it right away. They have a gift shop on the first floor which also had a vendor shop with snacks.

Since it was under construction, we didn’t experience a lot of the other things like the pool or restaurant. Currently, 7/6/23, you have to unload your luggage at the front and then drive up to park your car which is a bit of inconvenience.

Definitely a great stay, would recommend. I would probably wait for the construction to be done but if you don’t mind (we didn’t notice much of it anyway due to being at the park) then this stay would suit you.

Service was amazing! Walking distance to Disneyland is awesome! The rooms were basic low-budget hotel rooms. I expected much more from Disney, especially at the price per night. Only 4 elevators in a hotel with 10+ floors made us have to wait 30 minutes for an elevator one morning, and stairs could only be used by construction workers. There were no microwaves in the rooms, so leftovers had to be heated in a common area. Only 2 microwaves in the hotel. Pool was out of service for construction, so we had to use the neighboring resorts' pools. We expected/hoped to see Disney characters walking around the hotel, and there were none. Very disappointing stay. We could have stayed at a nearby Marriott using my employee discount for much cheaper.

Nothing special basically paid for no bed bugs. Bathroom fan not working. Pool and gym not available as it was under construction paper thin walls. Constant noise throughout the night could be heard. Felt shower vibrations on my bed from neighbors showering at 10pm for over 30mins. If you don't mind a walk- anywhere else is exactly the same and cheaper!

This hotel is part of the Disney complex so it is convenient in its location. But the room was nothing special and seemed madly overpriced, though I did not comparison shop so maybe it is par for the course in that area. There was no restaurant open when we were there but the vending was a nice plus. Staff were extremely responsive to a few special requests. But for over 500 a night, I expected a lot more. Again, I have not stayed in the area.

Very disappointed that this was a Disney resort. No characters walking around hotel, only 4 elevators for a hotel with 15 floors (had to wait 15 minutes for an elevator one morning), no restaurants on-site, rooms were outdated and subpar at best, construction was going on so we could not use stairs instead of waiting for elevators if we wanted to, my room phone didn't work and nothing was done after I reported it to the front desk, there were only 2 microwaves in the hotel for guest use (not in rooms), and there was no pool because of remodeling.
