Distant Brewing, Mammoth Lakes CA

Some of the best beer to ever cross your lips! Excellent recipes across all styles, but especially those who enjoy doubles, imperials, and dark styles. The food is outstanding as well. We are also always entertained by the amazing musical talent on open mic nights.

Definitely the best bar food in mammoth. They brew all their own beers right on site and have a variety of all kinds. Every entree comes with a bag of chips. My favorites are the chicken bacon avocado which is very filling and explosion of flavors. The Philly steak panini is a close second. Also pickles and chips is a top tier combo.

Pool tournaments every wednesday and live music at least once a week.

No other place to go for good food, good beer, and an awesome place to hangout. Always a must when I mammoth

Great brewery! You’ll feel like one of the locals here. If you’re into hazy beer you’ve gotta try their Sky Pillow! Dog friendly.

Parking right outside. Dog friendly. Great service and meal choices. They are using New Zealand Hops in a few of their beers. Beers with a difference from the usual brewers. Put on in and try them. Great friendly atmosphere.

Very diverse beer selection and high quality to boot. Food was good and came out quickly. I had the Cuban which was.decent. My friends ordered a French dip and a pizza and were very happy. Staff were super friendly and attentive.

Great beer and food! We stopped in after a morning hike and had a few brews with some nachos which were very tasty! Dog friendly, indoor and outdoor seating. Heaters too for the cold natured!

This is our go-to spot as a tradition ever time we arrive in Mammoth. No checking in is allowed until a pint is had at Distant. Their beer is always spot on, and the variety is always on point. The staff is beyond friendly, and it's such an off the beaten path chill spot to hang. Even if we are fully stocked at our AirBnB or hotel, we still head over Distant for a beer or several.

After spending years coming to Mammoth, we've made the decision that Distant has the best beer in Mammoth, hands down. Can't recommend this place enough if you are in the mood for an ice cold pint of deliciousness.
