Diversified Vocational College reviews
7I graduated from the Transportation and Logistics Technology course recently, and it was an amazing experience. The instructors are very knowledgeable and good at what they do, as well as the intake counselors. Great school.
I found the staff to be polite kind and very helpful my only problem with the whole program is that you only receive a $500 a a month stipend the program is 7 months so you're basically living on $500 a month the different program they also take out and over a $6,000 grant that goes to the program also sometime during the program you will be taken out of the student loan the upside is as soon as you are done with the program you are working on the docks in Long Beach and San Pedro making good money there's also an additional program to this program and it is your Tod truck drivers freak you will get your. You end up with your class a license and you will be driving for a something
I went to Diversified feeling hopeless and miserable. I was skeptical about ever finding energy and/or interest to regain my previous enthusiastic attitude.
Soon after, I found myself smiling and acting like my inner child with some hope.
I believe thier humankindmess enabled me to experience the rare feeling of, "this is where I belong. "
No doubt of their compassion and authentic suport will ever cross this bias mind. Specially, from Mrs. Jessy, who is my teacher and the one I directly interact with as a student.
This does not mean that the rest of the is any different than her. They where all very nice and equally treated me like a human.perhaps when I may have not desserve it.
My peers certainly mirrored Diversified's wellcoming personalities.
That is my happy place.
I enjoyed the program overall. It was stressful though dealing with the tests and the daily checkin times. After completing the code intensive part of the curriculum I felt like I had a good understand of the materials, but I would need more time to cement the knowledge within me.
The classes here costed me more money than the university I first attended in loans. A university education is worth more to me than the basic information taught here.
I feel compelled to speak up about this wonderful place, because I have a feeling that it's mostly the disgruntled people who make the effort to write a review. I'm not sure why those of us who have positive experiences rarely trumpet them publicly. So here I go.
