I went through Dividend to finance my home solar project. Whom like other such companies do not required payments until the solar panels are installed. So they push to get the installation companies to get them installed, but then are no longer involved to get the system passed inspection and actually turned on.

The group of young men who came to our house to install our Solar Panel System were easy to work with and they explained the whole process. Very friendly and respectful.

It was suggested that I use Dividend Finance as part of my solar installation with Renu Energy. When I signed the contract it said that payment would not be required until 60 days after installation was complete. I received notification from Dividend that my project was complete and they were ready to setup payment on April 12th (Today is April 26th and the project is still not complete). I logged into the system, selected payoff and was given a total. I then proceeded to pay off the loan in full and an error occurred. I called the customer service number and was told that the project was marked as complete but it hadn't been moved to the billing department yet so they couldn't accept payment. I was told I would receive another email in a few days when everything was approved to receive payment. Two weeks later I didn't hear anything and called back. I was told I could pay in full using the portal so I logged on requested the payoff amount and paid the balance. On April 26th I received a call from someone saying they were dividend finance and I needed to verify my social security number and date of birth before they could continue talking to me. I refused and told them to send an email proving who they were because I wasn't giving that information to a random person on the phone. I received an email stating I had an outstanding balance of 20.82. I called back and told them I had paid in full when they allowed me to. I was told that the 20.82 was the principle that I didn't pay. When I questioned this I was told "oh yeah it is the interest I can take the payment over the phone". I said I refused to pay interest on a loan that was paid in full the day it was opened. The gentleman became belligerent and said I had to pay or it would continue to accrue interest until it was paid off. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and was told "I wasn't allowed to speak to a supervisor. " This has been the worst experience with any company that I have "borrowed" money from. Do not use their services unless you want to them to steal from you.

Financing process was very easy, efficient, and productive. Paperwork was seamless and not overwhelming. Electronic documents made it less overwhelming and tedious. Quick response time after application was received. Funds were dispersed in a timely fashion.

Don’t use this company. You can’t get on website to pay bill. At 6.99 interest rate principal never goes down. Shady company

I'm giving them a 4 rating right now because it's the 1st time. I've ever dealt with this company but it seems like they are on top of everything and so far. Everything is worthwhile easy to work with

This company should be ashamed of itself for all the loans they partnered Pink Home Solar. Asking for payment on a systems that do not operate properly or were not even installed for some people. Then call you to help but, the only offer of help is to defer payments for 3 months; but still accruing interest against the loan. They won't tell you that part unless you ask!

This website is a joke. There is a number to call and all it does is allow you to make a payment but there are no options to even speak to a live person. If you don’t respond to the only option it gives you the recording hangs up on you. Worst company every. Don’t waste your time financing with this company find someone else who you can speak to if need be.

The absolute worst company to deal with! They don’t take account notes so you have to explain every detail to every new person that you get transferred to and the transfers don’t stop. The incompetence is truly astounding! If you have a choice to use a different lender, I would AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS! 0 stars if it was an option.

Try getting in touch with Dividend Finance. Either they have many, many customer concerns or far too few customer service representatives. Most calls don’t go through. If so, the automated answering service sends one through loops of “We’re sorry. ” “Our reps are busy helping other customers, and will get to you as soon as possible. ” Wait 5 minutes. “We’re really sorry. We’re so busy we just can’t get to you right now, leave a number and we’ll call you when we can, (which may or may not (probably not) be today.) ” “Oh, the fastest way to reach us is by email, which we will ignore just as much if not more than your call. ” “Having a concern or issues with your payment plan? Well, that’s your concern, not ours. As long as you’re making payments, we reserve the right to ignore your concerns. ”
Seriously looking at refinancing with a more responsive company.

If I could give no stars, I would. They deducted 2 payments from my account. I have called and left a message which they never called back. I sent an email and no response. The website is a joke.

Dividend Finance financed my solar power installation. The complete process from beginning to end was easy. All my questions were answered completely and promptly. The experience was completely quick. Based on my experience thus far, I would recommend, without hesitation, Dividend Finance.

This company is unresponsive to emails, phone calls, or complaints via their site. If I could give zero stars I would. Strongly suggest not using this company for any loan. Not worth the headache you will go through with them.

I would give a negative star but there's no option. You can't contact customer service and last month we were charged 4x the amount and this month 3 we sent an email letting them know we unauthorized multiple withdrawals to no avail. They just send email confirmation of payments.

I really wish someone from Dividend would reach out to me and discuss my unsuccessful attempts at either creating or logging to my account. I really want to get my direct payment setup so, I can make my payments on time and payoff my loan efficiently

I have been calling all morning to make a significant payment. No one answers the phone. No one calls you back. Telephone electronic payment denies the payment and I KNOW I have the funds to more than cover the payment. Interest compounded daily, so this approach to forcing customers to pay loan shark interest rates without being able to pay it down is pretty business Davy and AWFUL for a customer.

If I could rate them a 0 I would please be aware this company is nothing but bad news. I have had nothing but issues with them since I got my solar panels. I regret going with this company and the fact that I installed 42 panels and have to deal with them for 15 more years makes me want to cry every time. They ruined my credit because they charged me double one month and could not credit me back for the mistake. I had to remove my autopay as that was not an error I could afford during Covid. They not once tried to help me all they did was ruin my life as a single mom. Now I get an email I owe them $200 from where I requested my payments and will contact my bank and confirm as I'm sure they are dying to ding my credit again. Do not support a business like this especially when they came to me about solar panels I never went to them. Now I have to deal with them forever and feel like I get bullied with my credit since you need credit for everything.

This is a follow up to a previous review. Stay away from this company! After several phone attempts including leaving a voicemail 2 days ago and 5 E mails I finally was able to speak to a person. The rep was very nice and said they were working thru 3000 voicemails which is why I was never called back. She also informed me that my first payment went all to interest since interest starts the day you sign for the loan. She also stated that I was signed up for automatic payments which I don’t recall and she said a lot of customers don’t recall signing up for that!
Going forward I am going to check out options to find another lender and get rid of this company

We have a new account and for the past 2 months we have been unable to access the Payment Portal. We followed the instructions given on the site but we continue to get the Error Message, "Unable to validate user: Unable to Verify Contact". We've called Customer Service multiple times for assistance, but each time we have been placed on hold for several minutes with no contact with a Representative. We used the email address as suggested and several days later, we still have not heard back from anyone.

We called back and decided to use the automated Phone Pay option. This system takes entirely too long to maneuver through, and once we were finally able to enter our info, we received a message there was an Application Error then the call was disconnected. A few moments later, we received a payment confirmation text message and email. This just added confusion to the transaction as it left us unsure if the payment was processed correctly.

This is one of the worst experiences we've had with any company. Dividend Finance should consider revamping their payment portal to allow you to enter minimal and succinct information that will allow you to easily submit your payment as accurately and quickly as possible. Doing so will improve the User Experience exponentially.
