Our wedding venue worked exclusively with DJ’s California Catering which meant we didn't have to go through the often stressful process of selecting a caterer. It was truly a blessing in disguise!

Lauren at DJ's was a key part of our wedding planning, keeping us connected and informed throughout the entire process. She made us feel like we were her top priority, and her communication was impeccable. She helped with everything from napkin colors to the final day of setup and everything in between.

We scheduled an in-person tasting at their location in Ventura, which was an experience that made us feel truly special. The food was nothing short of incredible, leaving us eager for the culinary delights our wedding day would bring.

While DJ's California Catering offers several catering packages, we decided on the buffet option. It not only provided our guests with flexibility but also helped us stick to our budget without compromising on quality. We had the freedom to choose dishes that perfectly suited our tastes and the preferences of our guests.

Our menu featured exquisite selections, including a Roasted Top Sirloin Baron of Beef, the Chicken Breast Provencal, and a vegetarian option, Pasta Porcini with Wild Mushrooms. On our wedding day, the food exceeded all expectations. It was exactly like the tasting - fresh, and bursting with flavor.

The compliments poured in from our guests, with many expressing that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, and we couldn't agree more. DJ's California Catering not only met but exceeded our culinary desires for our special day.

I am so happy to have found DJ’s Catering and had them provide food, bartending, and rentals at our wedding! They made the process so easy and seamless and it was very convenient to have the same vendor provide so many services. I had to adjust our order multiple times and Doug was very helpful and accommodating (and quick to answer emails too)! The taco buffet food surpassed my expectations and many guests let me know how delicious the food was afterwards. Doug and his team were very accommodating to our gluten-free and vegetarian guests and made special notes of where they were seated at our dinner tables. His team did a great job with load-in and clean-up. I would highly recommend for any future bride-to-be!

Our experience with DJ's catering was WONDERFUL from beginning to end. At the start, Makenna helped me plan for the correct style and number of rental pieces. She then helped me create a perfect BBQ menu for my husband's 60th backyard bash. She was easy to work with and patient with all my questions. Makenna then gently passed me off to the event team who made sure everything went smooth as silk the evening of our party. John, the bartender, assisted me with drink ideas prior to the party. The night of the party he demonstrated, great professionalism and hospitality while handling a busy bar with ease and efficiency. Randi, the team leader, made
sure the flow of the evening was spot on, overseeing every part and making it look easy. Lalo grilled the meat perfectly and graciously served guests. Kara was a working bee with a great smile, filling in wherever she was needed. This fantastic team allowed me to relax and really be present so I could really enjoy the celebration. Oh, and the food. It was OUTSTANDING. Our guests commented how much they enjoyed the food. Even with 85 guests, we still had delicious leftovers to share. Finally, the gentlemen who dropped off and picked up the rentals were on time and efficient.

The best food EVER. The chef also makes INCREDIBLE appetizers. My personal favorite is the chicken quesadilla. Its so tasty! The chef makes it better than anyone!

DJ’s is a wonderful catering company. They did a lunch buffet at my mother’s celebration of life service which included delicious chicken breast, roasted vegies, pasta, green salad, homemade rolls, chilled drinks and delightful deserts. Using DJ’s made that part of my event stress-free. I didn’t have to worry about a thing and DJ’s was very easy to work with, The guests were all happy with the delicious lunch and left feeling satisfied and full. The cost was fair and the customer service was phenomenal! I highly recommend.
