Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort, Pinecrest CA

Whether it’s skiing or mountain biking Dodge Ridge offers fun for all skill levels. The resort is well staffed and can meet your needs whether it’s the delicious food in the food services or equipment from the pro shop they are well stocked with the best brands of ski and bike equipment along with expert techs to get you out if the shop and onto the mountain. There is plenty of parking and shuttle services are offered in winter. Finally the mountain itself is absolutely beautiful. Whether the mountain is green or white the views are breathtaking.

Great food and drinks. They have a full bar. You got to try the hot apple cider. It's sooo delicious

Leah Morris and Marissa from the food and beverage department are completely condescending and incompetent. Went here growing up and had hopes to get married here in the winter. They blew a 40-50k opportunity for dodge ridge in their events department.

Wonderful location for snow activities, sledding, skiing, gondola rides, ample parking spaces with lodges, and other amenities. Public Restrooms are also available

5/12/23 - update

I am updating my review. Dodge Ridge's Resort Services Director contacted me and honored the original transaction. She took to the time to listen to my concerns and make corrections to their internal processes to prevent what happened to me from happening to other customers in the future. She stressed that repairing the rapport with my family matters to Dodge Ridge and I genuinely believe she came from a place of integrity. I look forward to returning to the mountain I have skied since age six. I love their new mountain bike park and that they have great lunch options in the summer at their restaurant. I can't wait for continued family traditions there!

5/4/23 Let me start by saying I am local to the Dodge Ridge area and up until this week always had such a great year experience on this mountain. My opinion has changed drastically due to their unethical sales practices and inability to honor an online purchase. Please note that I have first attempted to rectify this directly with sales staff and management only to be met with rudeness and "let's agree to disagree".

What a great summer day at Dodge Ridge! It's new, but was well done! Live band, games, and great food. The view was spectacular!

I think this is the best mountain I've ever been to. Long runs, good snow, and cool staff. My friend and I had a wonderful time last week. I've had better snow, but for the end of April, it was wonderful

Closest snow to home! Loved learning to ski here… wish they would put in some high speed chairs

Dodge ridge is awesome for a day trip. It is only 2.5 hours from the Bay Area. They have runs to meet all ability levels and there are parts on the backside that are particularly challenging

Excellent resort with a lot of options for beginners and experienced skiers. Lift ticket prices are reasonable compared to other ski resorts. The only complaint is the food which sucks. Also very expensive for the quality of food and the service is bad. Better pack your own lunch.

Nothing to add to all the accolades other than to say that they are correct! A real gem. They don't make them like this anymore.

We visited Dodge Ridge for the first time a few weeks ago, and we will definitely return! This is the most family friendly ski resort that we've been to. Every employee we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and engaged with our young kids. It honestly made everything so much easier! The lesson my daughter took was phenomenal, and she can't wait to return. Plus, the lines were short and the snow was amazing!

Dodge Ridge is an excellent resort for learning to ski and snowboard. They have a few great beginner runs. For the most part the park is blue squares with a handful of diamonds. They have three terrain parks. The granite bowl is their greatest feature, it's fun when the snow is fresh and deep. The lodge has good food with a nice bar and all reasonably priced considering being at a ski resort.

My favorite resort! Has a very comforting feel. Staff is friendly and they do a great job at up keeping the resort.
I learned how to ski at this resort and continue to keep coming back to it's fun, well groomed runs.

There was plenty of snow and all the lifts where open.
Lines were short
They applied a military discount for us when my husband showed his badge.

Came here right at the end of the season and it was great how quiet it was! All the lifts were open! Vegan chili was delicious

Dodge Ridge was excellent especially the Staff and Ski Instructors. Somehow I messed up on registering my kids for lessons one was only registered for 10am class on Saturday the other 3 for Mondaythey were very kind and let me put them all in the afternoon class even though it was full.

One of my kids lost her sunglasses so she was not able to get lessons, rather than to lose the money they gave me a gift card to use at the Resort for the total value that was awesome so ski lifts, lessons etc.

All in all it was a good day at the resort all the kids had a great time.

The wine was excellent
