Dollar General, Modesto CA

The cashiers here are always polite and greet you when you walk in. Speedy checkout. And nice and cool inside. I shop here 3 times a week or more. Thanks ladies for making my shopping easy.

Dollar General. Today's visit was to return a item, which had a defect. Receipt of course, no problem. Great staff and store

We waited in line for them to attend us. Took more than 10mins because they were counting money at the front desk and talking. We were looking at them and they acknowledged us but did not attend us until they decided they were free. Horrible service!

Great stores. Great prices throughout the store. Clean and well organized. Great parking. You can find almost anything from toothpaste to garbage containers, even auto needs. Masks required. Great clerks always ready to assist you.

The employees here are very friendly and patient. They take Theo time to help you find what your looking for instead of pointing over all the isles in the general direction of the area of where it should be. Everyone smiles and they greet all who enter. Most days of the week the product is on carts and not put away. Short staffed or no budget, we have the pandemic to blame. Mostly clean and what is on the shelves is organized and easy to find. I return to this store weekly, and have a good experience here 98% of the time.

They have tons of stuff, not all a dollar, but good prices nevertheless. The workers are always super nice and fairly cheery.

Working progress. I was told if I dont have something nice to say then that I shouldn't say anything at all so

The first thing I noticed on my store visit, was management speaking to lurking staffers by intercom, then face to face, about a possible shoplifting suspicion within the store, most likely by young, local petty thieves. So when i asked a simple question on an out of stock item I needed to purchase, i was left feeling like my question, that was important to me, btw, was left unanswered and obviously my shopping experience is a low priority to the at times paranoid staff and although this low store moral and rude unprofessionalism, most likely comes from the store general manager, in his, or her attempts to control the stores high loss prevention statistics, found in their weekly reports, unfortunately affected me, the local consumer, this being you and I. Overall, a wasted attempt to try to complete my home project, using the area's Dollar General store in Modesto.

For some reason their machines at the register were not working the ATM and credit. So it made for a longer wait but it's pretty stocked.

Nothing too special but the workers are cool. Never had a bad time here. Lines are usually short. Just in and out if u need.

Great selection. NICE EMPLOYEES.need a qallon of milk or some deoderant maybe cat food.one stop its all HERE.

Good place to get house hold products and different foods like chips, sodas, candies, cookies, etc.

This store had a lot of stuff in it that you wouldn't of thought was in there which is why I like it and the people are nice

I get my nieces and nephews supplies and my All purpose Art Projects from Dollar General. The are the best. AffordaBle

One of the employees, a young, skinny Hispanic American female (light skinned) is always hiding in the back. Phones weren't working, the other employee was all by herself. The line was growing and people were getting frustrated enough that this older black guy starts yelling at me and my 14 year old daughter to move out of the way! They have some CD boxes that are big and in the way near checkout. Two carta can't get through at the same time. I called corporate, but the District manager never called me. It's been almost two weeks. I will not go back.
