Dollar General Market, Bakersfield CA

I like Dollar General cause it's close to the house & I can go in and get what I want & get out. They have a lot of the items like the big stores have & less people to be around. The only bad thing is at night there's not enough lighting in there parking lot that's not safe for there customers when your a lone.

Its ok. The prices are not cheap and the selection isn't great. They're always out of things.

Poor commitment to advertised sale price being the same price you should be paying@ the checkout.

The employees do a great job working around crazy people. The prices are amazing! Very convenient!

The Dollar. General is clean always what i need and.good customer service i really like it.

So I am paying for my groceries and the cashier doesn't have exact change in her box, she insist she rounds up the price of my groceries because she can't manage her box.

I asked round it down and she completely ignored me. I am not coming back.

Staff is always suspicious of me which is insulting but i guess i don't blame them cuz its not the best neighborhood. I go back because its close to my house and theyve usually got what i need.

They don't let u use the restrooms even if it's an emergency.
The workers always say it's out of order or it is closed to the public.

This is something I don't think anybody knows about Dollar General if you buy something it's yours it doesn't matter if you have the receipt for it to return it or not they do not take returns if you walk out the store also they're not very friendly they'll stay over there over here over there I even had an encounter with a manager that told me that they did not have something where would it be she said on the far wall I walked in look on the far wall and there was what I was looking for I did report it to the cashier because they always ask you did you find everything or how was service and I found out that the lady who told me that was in fact a manager it starts up top

I've been going to Dollar general market since I was a little kid and I love going to the Dollar general for you knew people that arrived to Dollar general give it a chance and you to you'll grow to love it

I frequent that particular store and most of the time I'm pleased w/the service and over all variety they have. Prices are fare as well.

Very unorganized, however it was close to closing time. Always hit or miss on staff being friendly & helpful!

It's good size and has a lot of choices. Neatly displayed and they don't move things around so things are easily found. I like the convenience of it.

This is the only dollar general in town that didn't honor the clarence sale. Even tho it clearly states it on the app.

So sad the cashires are horibble in customer service so is the manager this is my last time shopping there never again they dont deserve a star at all

This store really is dirty: sink, toilet seat, floor, ; so please check to see if there is toilet paper before you go into the stall! Also, there’s a foul stench festering as so as you walk in. The cashier are rude, the last two time in stopped in for cat food and toothpaste, that what I experienced.

I seen a beer run in progress, the first day I went I never felt so at home in any other store in my life
