Dollar Tree, Modesto CA

Yosemite Ave.dollar tree in Modesto is a small one, usually messy and they don't have newer items that are seen in the You-tube videos. So far of all the dollar trees I've shopped at the one in Turlock next to Costco is the best over all new selections, organized sections, with many if the newer items seen in the YouTube videos.

Seriously, looks like this place only hires drug addicts. The cashiers were the only loudest people in the store and kept cussing and arguing with each other. I had to stand there and watch 3 cashiers count money in one register while they all complained about management and shortage in the register. Another cashier by the name of Elizabeth told the rest of the cashiers to leave and continued to count money in the register while I was waiting. The original cashier moved to another lane and made an announcement that she will help the next customer in line. That's when everyone moved to her line. I asked Elizabeth if there's something going on with the register and if I should move to another lane, Elizabeth started to raise her voice and said she'll help me when she does and continued to count her money. I stood there again and watched her count money and complain. Then my friend asked her if I should move lanes after a few minutes, and she repeated herself in a louder tone and then she continued to complain but except this time instead to herself it was to us about how she never received her breaks or lunch with an agitated demeanor, I told her that's something she needs to address to her supervisor instead of taking it out on a customer. She just kept complaining from there when Finally she started to ring up the items but still complained about her lunch/breaks. Very unprofessional, awkward and rude. I would just avoid this location. I been to other Dollar Trees before with a clean friendlier environment. Dollar stores are usually fun to shop, but this one was trash.

This store is really dirty uncared for. 8t builds up garbage outside around the cans and the employees seem to just walk by and not care. The inside of the store is uncared for nothing right on shelf's very unorganized. Very disappointed.

Terrible customer service. The lady Mary that works there is very rude and obviously hates her job. She waited until I put all my things on her register to tell me she was closed. I felt racially profiled and it was very inconsiderate of her to tell me after I put all my belonging on the counter plus I had two small children with me for her to tell me she’s not going to ring my stuff. Very rude very unprofessional very racist I see why she’s almost 100 working at dollar tree. Worst experience I had this year

Very disrespectful manager to an employee right infront of customers very shameful to have her as a manager to belittle a employee never going back again also when I told the manager that i would be posting this she laughed and said that they operated with different set of rules

Isn't this the new DollarTree? Shame on the manager and the Corporate office out side is disgusting, Dirty, Drity. How can I give a negative 1. Well, I was waiting in line to hear someone screaming from the top of her lungs in the back saying someone just spilled something on the floor.sooo unprofessional as, she is employee.then the cashier is trying to explain why she screaming. Sooooo ghetto.

I went there with my grandma yesterday. They had the cough syrup she was looking for along with the candies she wanted. Also, the cashier was a very friendly elder lady.

This place is absolutely filthy! Garbage overflows on the sidewalks.which are also covered in gum, vomit, & trash. 2 women running registers and both lines are down the aisles.then one steps away to blow up balloons! If there was a manager sitting behind the glass in the corner playing games on a computer it wouldn't have surprised me! Dumped my stuff and walked out. Powerwash the sidewalk and parking lot and pick up the trash.hire more people at peek times! So much potential but no leadership at all. Sad.

Infuriating! Went there 57 times in search of trees could not find one inmortoali sor tree upset. My dog passed; (

Halfway through shopping I decided to leave my cart and walk out because I remembered how much I dislike this chain of stores horrible place

Outside is always clean and theres never homeless people just hanging around all over, great place to take the family

It's so dirty outside. The garbage cans are always overflowing and it's just not a clean store. But hey it's the dollar store.

Dirty. For a store that was not open for that long it's gross. Inside and out garbage everywhere right in front of the doors and on the inside floors.
I'll go miles out of my way to go to a different store

They don't always keep stocked, and the garbage cans are always over spilling! But, I do go there and they are nice, and inside store is clean.

I had to ask where something was and the sale associate took me right to it.then when my mom and I were ready to check out the girl at the register (Laura) was beyond fun and very pleasant to talk with. I'd keep her!

The one on Yosemite was great the one on hatch is the worst is the worst on I've ever been to

They have really good prices on soda it is Shasta but hey it's diet cola and it's not bad diet cola. They have pickle relish all kinds of things if you need. They have good cards birthday cards anniversary cards good luck cards graduation cards. They're wrapping paper bags bows and all those sort of things for a dollar apiece can't beat that and they have balloons happy birthday balloons happy anniversary balloons I love you balloons turkey balloons pumpkin balloons. The Dollar Tree is fun just to go and burn some time.

The store manager is awesome! She had no problem coming out of her office to help me find what I was looking for. Store is maintained better than expected given the area it is in. Overall my review is 5 stars because of the staff and their radiant personalities!

An average Dollar Tree with perhaps the filthiest, most disgusting parking lot and entrance I've seen. Especially unimpressive considering this store is just a few years old.

Always clean. Stocked well. Friendly and helpful workers. Thanks for putting the store in our neighborhood.
