Dollar Tree, Modesto CA

I went there on a Thursday night. Only one cashier available. The line was growing. Instead of helping the customers the lady stood there yapping away with one customer. If your not going to help the customers then this place needs to hire people who like to work at dt and help the customers. I dropped all of my stuff in an aisle and left! Please consider getting self checkout. I won't be back to this dollar store.

I would give them 5 stars.if they ever hire enough employees so that you aren't standing in a ridiculously LONG Line the majority of the time I go there

I work in the area and try to give my business to Dollar Tree but everytime I try to stop by for something to drink, snacks or something for lunch there's only 1 cashier up front and a line all the way to the back wall. I genuinely hope other people complain about this, sometimes a worker is on their break and they don't want to spend it waiting in line for a bloody slim jim and drink. To be fair though this kind of practice is happening everywhere, not just here that's why I like self checkout but DT's don't offer them. Still even on my lunch I'm in line 25+ minutes.:/ it's gotten bad at this location, than you have employees walking around on the floor without a care in the world, ignoring the line. Whatever happened to excellent customer service and fast service? Non existent at this Dollar Tree but I suspect it's the same at other locations.

The current Manager at this place is an absolute sweetheart, she’s super enthusiastic, has an amazing attitude and is overall extremely helpful & friendly. This is probably the best dollar tree in all of Modesto, they always have more of a variety of items compared to to the other dollar trees & anytime I’m looking for something I can’t find or have a question the manager has ALWAYS helped me out and answered all of my questions. 100% would recommend Visiting this store.

The workers were rude when I asked if they were hiring. And made it seem like I was in the wrong for asking

Disappointed it's no longer a 1$ tree. Everything is priced. 1.25 an item so now it's a dollar and a quarter tree.

No disabled person entry assistance. Great difficulty for disabled shoppers! When they had a line of over 10 people waiting to pay, they still didn't open another checkout line! The only thing good is the products they sell, and personnel they employ.

I love the Dollar Tree store. The store has great party decorations, greeting cards, seasonal holiday items and health and beauty products. All for a dollar.

Well stocked, clean and they welcome you in. I was surprised at the ammount of cleaning supplies that were available. Decent place for sure!

It was dirty, the man employee had a problem with tying the balloon strings to the balloon weight. Made sure it was known that he was "never asked to do that before and he was employed there for 3 years. " Made me feel bad for asking and made me feel very uncomfortable. Bad communication.

Very busy location, but always very friendly, even to last minute shoppers, showing up late at closing. Thx!

Good place to grab party supplies and fill gift bags. Also great to grab some decent frozen treats and believe it or not frozen food such as burgers and ice-cream and such

Like the Dollar Tree stores for party items or holiday small item needs. I would give most stores a five star but this one only four because they seem to carry less stock than the other stores. On the bright side, never really crowded and don't have to stand in a long line to check out.
