Dollar Tree reviews
16Rude staff that block all the isles with boxes in the middle of the day with random inventory. All the items on the shelves were a mess and couldn't find anything. The staff rushed my 2 yes old and I out the checkout with just a couple books so they may help the next guest right away. I mean, let me put my cash in my wallet and deal with my kiddo first before I leave the register. What's the rush for? Never to come back
Honestly it was a bare display. Nothing horrible but nothing good. I went for specifics and they were out of a lot of staples. Water and toothpaste and fem products which is ok. I understand. I just went to target.who also is having some supply issues.
I enjoyed shopping here, fully stocked shelves cashier was super friendly! My only complainy is that the floors are dirty and The store was really hot Like the AC wasn't on or working, its been my experience that when in the afternoon and evening the store is just hot so I would suggest if you plan to visit the store go early in the day
I went down there first time I've been there and I mean I loved it they have everything under this sun out there in Southport I could not believe it all the stuff they had I was really happy with it
I prefer the one on Harbor Blvd over the one in Southport. Never enough registers open and everything had been increased to $1.25.
I think it was the manager but they were rude and followed us around with the broom when it was close to closing time.
Cashier was rude. Not taking the mask mandated seriously. I won’t shop there if I don’t feel safe. It’s a shame how some people are.
Audrey Taylor the "store manager" was very rude and disrespectful. She cursed out the customer and displayed poor customer service. I dont know what got into her. She has tattoos and she looks and acts unprofessional. She needs to remember that she is manager at the "dollar store" she needs to check her attitude. Her poor customer service and her trashy look makes me never want to go to this store again.
Great place to quickly grab inexpensive little knickknacks and a home essentials and snacks.
Friendly employees, well organized. However they aren't ALLOWED to play music in their store for customers! Are you kidding me? ! Part of a good shopping experience is the atmosphere. This atmosphere did not leave me feeling warm and fuzzy. The whole time I was shopping I felt like I was the last shopper and they were waiting for me to leave so they could close the doors on me. Either that or I was in a ghost town and not welcome there!
I love this store! It has just about everything you can find at other locations. The staff is friendly and helpful every time I go in to this location.
Went in for a few essential items which needed replenishing; masked and protected. In and out quickly. This is one of the cleaner Dollar Treestores in all of Sacramento and West Sacramento. It is located at the Town Center Plaza on Jefferson blvd within the Nugget grocery market and Target dept store. It is also a good location with easy parking access.
This location is smaller than many of the other Dollar tree locations, but it still has everything that you need just in smaller amounts. My kids like going there because they having decent toy and snack collection. I particularly like to look at their book collection because they carry brand new hardcover books that book stores no longer want to carry for only a dollar.
Upon entering 30 minutes before close, we were repeatedly (and erroneously) told the store would "close in ten minutes" told to "hurry up, " and chased around with a broom from aisle to aisle so as to really drive home the fact that our business during business hours was unwanted. Twenty minutes before close, another reminder over the loud speaker that the store would be closing "in six minutes! ". Then 15 minutes before close, at 8: 45pm manager yelled, "HEY! WE ARE CLOSED! YOU NEED TO PAY AND GET OUT RIGHT NOW! " While checking out, I paid with $100 bill and the manager had to verify it in the back office through sneers and rolled eyes. At NO POINT had anyone bothered to ask if we needed help finding anything, we weren't asked if we found everything we needed. The cashier was nicer and reminded us to grab our purchase as we walked out. She was much more qualified to be a manager in my opinion (because she didn't engage in any of the rude behavior) Before completing checkout, the manager had locked the door so "no one else can come in, " something she said to the cashier. Manager had to let us out personally, I said thank you and she just said goodnight. When we got back to our car, it was 8: 48 PM! The manager locked the door behind us and mimed inaudibly at a pair of dogs (teasing them) that were with their owner that had been refused entry. SERIOUSLY. THIS WAS 12 MINUTES BEFORE THEIR POSTED HOURS! Another couple was apparently still in the store five minutes after we had finished, and they too were let out while the customer with the dogs watched as the door was again locked after them. I am disappointed. I thought this location was better than one that was closer but after this experience, I think I'd rather pay more for better customer service somewhere else (unless this one learns to promote it's star players).
I enjoy shopping at Dollar Tree, especially my local store. Dollar usually has what I want or need. Dollar Tree is underrated in my opinion.
I had a bad experience at this location. I showed up 5 minutes before closing time which I know is not something that employees like but if your hours state that you are open till 9pm then I expect to be able to show up BEFORE CLOSING time for any last minute items I need. Audrey was VERY rude as she continually repeated the words "we're closed" in a very rude tone. I only needed maybe 2 minutes to get in and out and that definitely would have been possible had Audrey done things the right way. Instead she chose to be rude because she probably wanted to go home early. Never coming back here again. Avoid dealing with Audrey and go to target next door
