Dollar Tree, Riverbank CA

This used to be my favorite Dollar Tree. Now it is awful. They are never open (8-2), they don't have a working phone number (so that I can see if they're open without having to drive all the way there), they always have outrageous lines and only one cashier (while the other employees are trash talking and pretending to work in the aisles). Not even sure why they bother opening for the few hours they do. Save your time and headache, and shop somewhere else.

They SUCK! Drove from Oakdale because the site says, OPEN untill 9: 00! The sign on the door says clises at 2: 00. LIARS!

I like to go here but for the past month or so it’s only open 9am to 2pm… not sure if it’s do to staffing but now I can never go because my work hours are until 5: 30pm

I enjoy finding new things they add. But it's a little messy. I do understand customers do it.

Only open from 8am - 2 pm? UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE! Or maybe answer your phone, It’s been off the hook for days. Seriously. I can’t believe this supposed corporate business is being run like this.

They generally carry a good selection of items.
The last time I was here, they were very busy.

The hours have temporarily changed at the Riverbank location to 8-2 p.m. And Sundays 9-2.

Fantastic service. Wonderful personnel. Very clean store for a inexpensive type store. Riverbank stores well stocked. Employees are always willing to help you find things. I shop there often and I got to know a lot of the employees as they're a very personable and friendly.

Everything is a $1.25
Can't argue with only paying little over a buck for cleaning supplies.

My only concern is that only one register open, and the line went all the way down to the back of the store. Yes, there were several employees throughout the store stocking, and the only cashier ringing customers up did not call for help!

I shop here all the time. Can get pretty much get anything I need in a pinch. I also applied at this location for part time and man what a disappointment. I did my application just about 3 weeks ago online like the website stated. It has yet to change any status. I have called the store manager religiously for a follow up AND even gone in there a couple times. I feel like I'm getting the run around. I was told they were doing interviews on the spot from 11-6 on the 19th, so I raced from my daytime job to make it only to spend 5 minutes, no interview at all only giving my phone number again and getting I'll call you tomorrow and my assistant manager will set up a time for Tuesday". No call Thursday, Friday or Monday. I called Monday after work and was told that the manager wasn't in to try again in the morning. I called again on Tuesday and again gave my number. So disappointing. Here I am wanting to work nights and Saturdays and I can't even get a call back or a proper interview. I was always told that you should be persistent when you apply for a job so they know how much you want it. I don't think I can be any clearer. To bad the manager couldn't just tell me they weren't interested. Silly to turn someone away when they want to work.
