Don Perico Mexican Restaurant

I hadn't been out to brunch for quite awhile. We used to love dinning at their Sunday brunch. The chicken and broccoli was my absolute favorite. But this time it was unremarkable, pretty much all the way around. "That's not to include the waiter, his service was very attentive". The food was just lacking. I'm sure it's due to the outrageous prices they now have to pay for everything. What was once a treat after Church to refresh and relax with family and friends has now become a disappointment. I certainly don't know how businesses survive in this political climate. The cost of doing business in the food industry in this not so Newsom climate has changed more than just the quality of ingredients. The disadvantages far out ways any advantage any business owner may possibly have in making a reasonable living for their families. How in the world is the food industry to survive?

My kid and I weren’t feeling very well and needed some good abondagas soup. Since there are so many In town that are just horrible I was able to ask the manager Ignocio how he liked it. Kind enough to give a sample and it was exactly what we needed. Not the best in town but top ten for sure.

Went there for an event that was provided with buffet. Rice was undercooked, beans were really watery. Enchiladas tasted like cardboard. I wasn't even willing to try the Chile Verde. Chicken fajitas the veggies were raw. Best part was the salsa that had no kick.

A favorite place for my whole family, got in early and had some of the best service available without other patrons being too loud, the food is always worth it and never let's us down.

I don't like it, they don't have special outfits for any occasion, very simple, I don't buelbo.

Absolutely, hands down, the best Mexican Brunch in town. Wonderful people, wonderful atmosphere.

The food is good, the drinks are not that good, the service is very friendly and helpful but closes very early on Friday's.

Service absolutely horrible. It wasn't that busy yet waiter seemed rushed.

My wife and I go here frequently. Fantastic food, service and a good price. Very hard to beat the food here.

We visit this location every Tuesday and Thursday. The food is always perfect and the drinks are strong.

This is a super cute restaurant! I love all the detailed art. My hubby enjoyed his plate which had steak, an enchilada, the chile relleno was on the side and he addded some shrimp. However, the rice was really salty so we didn’t eat that. My cheese enchilada was good. Our server did a great job of checking on us multiple times.

I was in a bit of a hurry since I was heading to a show after dinner.
I was seated, ordered my drink, served chips and salsa, had my order taken, received my food, and asked for the check all under 40 minutes.
The food and drink was delicious and my server was very courteous and expedient.
I ordered the mango margarita and the taco + enchilada plate.

Lovely restaurant with excellent service. Reminded me of a restaurant I've been missing since moving to Bakersfield. Plus was so nice after we left another restaurant where the service was so bad we didn't stay.

This place is a scam. Check your bill. They add misc charge for no reason. When we asked them they said it was pre paid tip. Good was nasty
