Don Roman, San Diego CA

I've only been there twice, but I have to say, the staff at Don Roman is absolutely amazing! They're super friendly and helpful, always ready to give awesome recommendations. If you're not sure what to get, just ask them! I went for the Adobada street tacos and a special California burrito, and let me tell you, they were delicious! The flavors were on point. Oh, and guess what? I have 3/4 of the burrito left for later. Team Air Fry to the rescue! But seriously, make sure to check out Don Roman. They're definitely part of Team Positivity Our Way!

I was able to order right away. The food is always good. The place is clean and comfortable with a tv to watch and music playing in the background. Some people order to go, and most pickup orders. I recommend the mini street tacos, carne asada fries, and Don Roman burrito. The salsa is good but not too hot. It's one of my favorite spots.

Small taco shop in a strip mall. Took a chance bc I was starving, wanted a shrimp burrito and diet coke on a hot day, and it had decent reviews.fYI they only have refried pinto beans which was disappointing and no fountain soda (despite photos showing a machine). So overpriced can drinks are your only option. But the burrito was delicious. The salsa and limes were plenty and it hit the spot.

Simply the best authentic Mexican food in San Diego. Only 5 tables for dine in but food is the best!

The carne asada friesare so delicious I can't stop coming here cuz it's so good and the employees are so kinda and helpful I'm definitely coming back soon, the carne asada burritos are also so good I highly recommend eating here️

Had the pleasure meeting and chatting with the owners as we were loading our vehicles with our groceries and supplies. Asked where their restaurant was located and from that.onward to the most delicious beef taco plate I've tasted in awhile. Friend ordered breakfast burrito big enough for two, Restaurant located in large small business mall. Ample parking indeed. Exterior clean and inviting. Limited Indoor seating. Take out and delivery options. Staff worked well for fast service. Spoke to few others while in line and everyone had positive comments. Good people, good service and exceptionally great delicious food. I'm heading back again and again!

Ordered delivery since my girlfriend wasn't feeling well and they were the closest place that had albóndigas. I ordered rolled tacos and a breakfast burrito.

Albóndigas was a bit on the salty side, good amount of meatballs but only veg was 4 pieces of carrot a single hunk of off-tasting potato. Broth tasted a bit heavy on the cumin.

Breakfast burrito was a little dry and the cheese wasn't spread around and instead congealed along 1 side. Had a lot of bacon but hardly any egg.

The rolled tacos were completely flavorless and I'm pretty sure they're the cheapest option from Sysco or some other restaurant food supply.

Finally, we had asked for extra salsa. We only received 4,2 red and 2 green. Both had no spice and tasted watered down.

Love Don Roman. I order takeout a few times a month from here and it's always on point. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Cashiers are nice and the place is clean. Thank you to all employees, you guys are great:)

Slow slow slow. Had my food sitting in the bag for 10min. Had to get back in line just to get my food.girl working front moves slow and doesn't call orders up.place is too expensive for cold food!

The California burrito and chicken tacos were also delicious. Their salsas are great and all for a great price.

Good tasting food. Many options to pick especially the burritos. Such as there surf, Diego, and the one I would recommend the hot Cheetos burrito. If you want to cut down on calories you can order a bowl instead of a burrito. They do have taco Tuesday special for $2 tacos, which I got and was worth the price.

I order from this shop pretty frequently, I can only talk about the breakfast burritos since that's all I ever want/get, but they are pretty good. I like potato in my breakfast burritos and theirs are seasoned pretty well. Consistently the same.

Food is OK, it's rare for me to get food poisoning but it happened the other day after eating their rolled tacos, i was perfectly well the whole day then decided to have their rolled tacos before heading to bed that night and woke up feeling the most sick I've ever been in my life. Two days without eating and sleeping, cramps, vomiting, high fever, etc.

Honestly, been coming here for a couple times as of a year since I started working up the street. To be fair, I use to live up the street to one of the best taco shops couldn't really compare any to where I live now, this comes very close and is very tasty.

Been here a few times and the last couple times I've felt sick after. The meat was slimy. Not sure if I'm just being paranoid, but I would hope my food wasn't tampered with. Either way, I don't think I would go back.

Authentic Mexican, RARE prices. I compare this food with my trips to Tijuana, Rosarito, and Ensenada - hands down my favorite place in San Diego for a burrito (get the Nak Burrito!) or discount tacos on Tuesdays. Thanks, Don Roman!
