Classy theater/opera house, offering opera, dance and various other productions.

Positive experience, and the LA Opera personnel were both cordial and friendly - a refreshing change from the service workers of today!

I attended an Alvin Ailey performance with a friend there and was blown away! Fabulous dance troupe with a great history. The founder Alvin Ailey created a most memorable and magical experience that has lasted for generations. Battle, the new artistic director takes the group in a different direction, but still very vital and interesting. A great experience!

Heard the LA Opera’s version of the St. Matthew Passion by J. S. Bach with the Hamburg Ballet expressing the story. The orchestra and soloists were unbelievably beautiful!

Went to see Alvin Ailey Dancers. Employees were kind and helpful. It is very hot with masks so bring water. Concessions are very expensive.

They required masks which we liked because it was a sold out ballet! Fun fountain. Not far from public transit. The bathroom line moves quickly. The performance was interesting to say the least!

Great atmosphere outside at LAOpera!

And the opening night was spectacular.
Loved the glorious Music and Vocals of St Matthews Passion.

Now if they will just add a big horseshoe bar outside where we can sit all spring and summer before the show and all will be good.
