Dorothy Chandler Pavilion reviews
10 Classy theater/opera house, offering opera, dance and various other productions.
Comfortable seats and gorgeous chandeliers0 in a very spacious lobby.
Positive experience, and the LA Opera personnel were both cordial and friendly - a refreshing change from the service workers of today!
I attended an Alvin Ailey performance with a friend there and was blown away! Fabulous dance troupe with a great history. The founder Alvin Ailey created a most memorable and magical experience that has lasted for generations. Battle, the new artistic director takes the group in a different direction, but still very vital and interesting. A great experience!
Row V S54 Perfect view! Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater… My God be praised and my spirit be raised! ️
STILL ONE OF LA AMAZING PLACES TO VISIT AND SEE LA OPERA'S PERFORMANCE. AMAZING SOUNDS FROM THE " AIDA " PERFORMANCE EXQUISITE VOICE AND DANCE.
EXCELLENT TO VIEW AND KEEP SPECIAL OCCASION MEMORY.
The Alvin Ailey Dance Group were awesome. 1st time I've been to the Dorothy Chandler's Pavilion and it is wonderful. The performances were Spiritually enjoyed.
Heard the LA Opera’s version of the St. Matthew Passion by J. S. Bach with the Hamburg Ballet expressing the story. The orchestra and soloists were unbelievably beautiful!
Went to see Alvin Ailey Dancers. Employees were kind and helpful. It is very hot with masks so bring water. Concessions are very expensive.
They required masks which we liked because it was a sold out ballet! Fun fountain. Not far from public transit. The bathroom line moves quickly. The performance was interesting to say the least!
