I did not plan on getting a smog however my wife was in line at the DMV across the street and it was going to be a while so I thought I might as well get it done also went in to enquire and saw that you have to pay whether it passes or not so I new I was over due for an oil change and was having second thoughts he said as long as you don't have a check engine light on you should be fine.
Now I know he Cannot Guarantee anything; however when my vehicle did not pass he took me around to the back of my vehicle and pointed to the tail pipe and showed me why it did not pass.when you rev the engine a puff of white smoke comes out the tail pipe?
So IF he really cared about his customers he could have said you know what, that puff of smoke could possibly cause a failure so maybe you should have it serviced first! Which tells me One of two things he either doesn't know what he's talking about or more likely he just wants to make a quick 45 bucks. Either way I would not use them. The only solace here is that I made it known I was not happy with him and another gentleman filling out paperwork over heard this, walked up to me and said you know what I agree with you I'm going across the street.

Look Mr. Dorsa Read my review again I never said you guaranteed anything! When I told you I was having second thoughts because I was past due for an oil change you were NOT a pass or don't pay station; you said: needing an oil change should not matter.your exact words were" As long as the check engine light was not on YOU SHOULD BE FINE! " That was only part of the Issue I have with you the Bigger issue is how easy it was for you to point out the visual (Puff of Smoke) as to why it did not pass. You could have looked for that before hand and said maybe it would be better if you got it serviced before hand. 'Simple ' you would have gotten another customer instead of a bad review!

Just thought you should know Mr. Dorsa on the 14th I took my vehicle to my Local Mechanic and he performed a simple oil change got it smogged for me and guess what? It Passed! So proof below you are wrong, an oil change does matter Anyone looking for a smog go to ALL STAR AUTOMOTIVE They will treat you Right!

Good price, was fast and professional, I got there about 4: 40p and there were 2 guys ahead of me and they closed at 5pm. He said no problem II'll get you in just give me 30 mins. Took only about 25 mins, got my tags and smog and was very pleased, why even waste time at the DMV. Oh and this is not a pass and don't pay station and he has a sign that states that in the shop.

Lady in the front is really rude and not much help, and they will do anything they can to not pass your smog. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!

I did not have my gas cap on my reservoir. I just lost it at the gas station. Dorsa's charged me $38.75 and said I did not pass the smog test because I did not have a cap on my gas reservoir. They say I should stop by next day with a cap. To take the test again they said it will cost me another $47.00. That was not nice to say I had to pay again just for a cap missing.
I went to another place that was a little bit cheaper. They noticed that my car did not passe the day before. I told them why. They said that they would have not charged me twice if if had come to them at first.

Owner was kind and service was quick and great he totally helped out with my 2004 explorer. Would recommend to family and friends

Was told the smog check would take 20 min. He finished in ten! They have the best service, hospitality, and of course.the best price in the area. They opened last year but they run like old school mechanic shop. Very experienced I see. I would love to come back again for my next smog check in the future. They also offer to compete your registration for you. Who wants to do that on their own. Isn’t that what accountants are also for. Assuming you pay your taxes. Right?

We found them by accident! They do it all. Smog paperwork & tag on same day. Honestly, we loved George, but he retired and had heard not so good about his sons. Have had 2 diesel. Trucks done there so far. Really nice folks.

Fast, friendly, reasonable. I would suggest getting an inexpensive scan tool to make sure all your car monitors are ready for smog before you go in. In fact, do this for all smog check shops.

Needed a unexpected smog. Doesas took me right in and even gave me a coupon to use! It was fast great service! Staff is super friendly! I would def go back! So happy I found this place!

Great place, courteous people. They got us in and out of there fast. ALSO they saved us from waiting in a DMV line by taking care of the paperwork too.
