Dosa Hut reviews
40Nice hole in the wall place.reminds you of the darshini tiffin centers in Bangalore. Don't go here for ambience, go for taste
Nice stop if you are craving for a legit south indian cuisine. Dosas and vada are simply superb. I personally liked the paneer dosa. Price is also more than just good, given the place is right in the middle of a downtown.
Must try if you ask me.
I have been visiting this restaurant for quite a few years now and the place has never disappointed about anything till date. Restaurant got a huge variety of items in the menu and most of those are good. Service is fast and good at the same time. My usual go to items here are dosas, idly, vada, poori, combos and coffee. Have tried veg biryani a couple times and that’s also decent.
Table was not clean. Out of 8 tables 4 were full of plates eaten by customers.
Food good but hygiene poor
Authentic South Indian. Loved the ghee dose, vade, upama, Idli everything! We finished before we could take a picture:)
This was my first experience, I ordered Gunguru Masala special Dosa (only available on Friday and weekend). Quantity of Masala (smashed potato) was too less. Sambhar and chutney were ok, not of excellent quality.
They have very good medhu Vada and very soft idlis. The Mysore masala dosa was very good and I would also recommend thier filter coffee. Overall a small place with decent sitting space
If you like dosa and South Indian food, this is a good fast food type hole in the wall place. Last visit the tomato chutney had a somewhat off taste, also noted their serving size of sambar is getting smaller. The South Indian style coffee tasted like burnt nescafe, not really recommended.
Don't go that place is not hygienic even I'm going to complaint against that place I'm going to call the food inspectors and he's so much racist I'm from North India he just did racist things with me.
I am order dinning in Dosa i am waiting 20 minutes when i am come back my order tell me your order is cancel.and very very bad quality food any body not come this dosa restaurant
Very very basic dosa place. The sambar and chutneys were very bland. They put the chutney and sambar bowls on top of the dosa which made the dosa stick to the plate. And not so sure if the bottom of chutney containers were so clean. No ambience and unclean floors. We ordered Mysore Masala dosa which was supposed to be spicy (and it was bland) the potatoes were bland as well. We asked for spicy chutney and they had none. Will not recommend.
They serve cold idly and stale chutneyy and when u ask them they act as if we are eating food at their mercy! Worst customer service, stale food
South Indian menu is really good, and its not pricey. I've eaten several times and very few times the food turned out to be average. I would say its a great place for South Indian breakfast. They have interesting combo dishes which are mix of idlis, dosas, vadas with sambhar.
Food is decent and the prices are customer friendly.but their service is the slowest ever.
They take 30plus minutes to get a dosa or idli.which is more time than making a paella or pasta.
Ridiculous all the time.
The worst food to eat.dosa was burned along with sanmbhar was roasted and had burned smell, when I asked waiter he looked at me and shook his shoulder and walked away, guest at next table complained and took his refund and walked away. Dirty and messy restaurant.
Food is really good. Lack of cleanliness and bad customer service is really a bummer. It is such a bad way to treat a customer if after ordering $20 worth of food, they say there is a min order if you want to order additional food with your credit card (or else you have to pay transaction fees).
Love it. All vegetarian restaurant with great tasty food and affordable prices.
Nothing extraordinary about this place. In fact the place is so congested, it doesn’t feel comfortable to eat in. The seating too bad to get in and out and no scope for long legged folks to pull back.
If not for the very good food especially at such an affordable price which is such a rarity in the city of Fremont, wouldn’t recommend eating in. Do check it out.
The food used to be good now it is worst. The idlly n vada used to be fresh now its all old stock.
Such a worst experience I ever had. Thali is very very bad and even masala dosa is watery.
I never suggest any person to go this place.
I wish I have negativ ratings
Very good place to taste Indian Veggie stuff.
My favorite one vijayawada special dosa which comes with the cheese, upma and onions inside it and loved it. We can have good food here and go to a good movie in Cine Grand Fremont 7 as it is just opposite to it.
