Nice place, however the room shoud have a fridge and the price for a parking lot is very high. This was first time I had to pay for a parking lot in Double Tree.

Stayed at Galveston seawall. Do not believe the good reviews. Hotel is run down and not maintained exterior door so rusted you do not need a room key to open. No security. Both Elevators are broken.
No breakfast available. Parking is $3 less expensive on the street. Drunks are not remove and children are allowed to set at pool swim up bar. There is only one washer and dryer and it was broken the entire stay. Main elevator was broken the entire stay. Second elevator only work part time so you would have to walk to the fifth floor. Good reviews are bogus seem to come from other countries. I again terribly maintained falling apart.

I have stayed here in the past with no problems. This stay was filled with inconveniences: no morning coffee, slow, broken elevators, no fresh towels. There are so many hotels in the area that I am sure another one could fit the bill much better.

I do not understand how this DoubleTree has such high ratings on here.

There is no free wifi as claimed on here, there is no fridge in the room, the food is mediocre at best, and more importantly, the elevators are incredibly unreliable. The elevator buttons do not work, so you have to wait until somebody from a floor where an elevator IS working comes down to the lobby. It's a good thing we don't have that much luggage.

I'm surprised they're not charging us for breathing air.

This is by far the worst, stingiest hotel I have ever stayed at. People leaving good reviews must either be paid agents, or they are leaving reviews for a different hotel and left one here by mistake. Heed what the negative reviews are saying. This is a mediocre hotel at best.

This is a nice hotel to stay at in this resort town. Be sure to factor in the nightly parking charge to the overall cost of the room. It seems a bit excessive. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

The hotel was great! Clean, spacious and my room very quiet.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Definitely will be staying there in my next trip to the area.

A decent option for visiting Disneyland while steering clear from the area immediately surrounding the park, the DoubleTree Anaheim – Orange County has been a good option for us. While the hotel no longer offers its own shuttle service to Disney, the ART resort bus picks up across the street and was convenient enough to give Uber/Lyft a run for their money.

The lobby level was remodeled a few years ago and the rooms are contemporary but unremarkable. Sadly, the desk chair in my 2 Double (Room 911) was visibly worn to the point of being uncomfortable to sit upon. (You could feel the metal parts through the leatherette seat. Yikes!) It seemed one or more of the elevators was out of commission during my stay leading to longer-than-average wait times and crowded elevators with a good number of guests not wearing masks; a bad combination. The pool area was a nice to have although it could use some attention and maybe a mild refresh. A duck pond is present at the corner of the property.

Note: Room 911 and the other rooms in that row face the intersection of Chapman Ave & The City Dr, as well as UCI Medical Center’s helipad. Helicopter takeoffs can be noisy, though this only happened once during my three-night stay.

Food service was limited as the hotel ramps back up due to COVID, which meant the restaurant was closed and the lobby bar provided dinner while the coffee bar provided breakfast, though service at the latter was spotty and seemed stretched thin. I received a $10 Honors Gold F&B credit once during my stay, which seemed a bit odd considering other Hilton properties I’ve recently stayed at offered that credit nightly. Sadly, the front desk staff reported that the property had been out of the signature DoubleTree chocolate chip cookies for a couple weeks.

All in all, a nice though uneven DoubleTree property, and one which I’ll consider staying at again if the price is right. I suspect the facility will improve as things continue to ramp back up post-pandemic.

This place charges for parking. Was woken up to an emergency evacuation. Staff had a very bad attitude when I asked for cookies. Very outdated. Esthetically the rooms where a disappointment.

I checked in on a Monday and checked out on a Friday. When I checked in they automatically told me I would not be getting cleaning service everyday, and made me pick days they would not be coming. Also they no longer give out cookies except when you check in. So the day after I checked in I tried to get a cookie and they told me it would be a $2 charge for 1 cookie. So no cookies and no maid service.

Room was clean and quiet. They didn’t put me in a room with a fridge like requested for my medicine, but did fix it to make it right. Nothing too special about this hotel, but was good enough for what I needed. They do charge for parking daily and their fitness center is a joke. Hardly any equipment and the size of a closet. I probably wouldn't stay her again, but it was good enough for just sleeping for work.

Kind of disrespectful when I am paying 200$ for my room and then at check out time they knock not even 5 min after 11 they knock on my door and barge right in as they are knocking and don't even wait 5 seconds after knocking to go in. Also they wouldn't let me use my card the second night i stayed because it had no chip but I used it the first night. Such BS. I love hilton and am a diamond member however I think it's rude to just come inside someone's room without notice.

Not good. They are VERY understaffed, and it's showing badly. Only one elevator of the 4 are working and it is super slow to arrive. Sometimes over 10 mins wait. They opened the service elevators to make up for it, but those are through kitchen and storage to get there. Strange. No room cleaning, including towels, called twice for a refresh of towels only and got nothing. Went in person to front desk to finally get some. Piles of towels at the pool waiting to get cleaned, food in hallways waiting to get picked up. Very marginal included breakfast with standard eggs, potatoes and sausage/bacon. Setup for oatmeal and bread/toast but nothing there. Again, understaffed and they're trying, but I won't go back.

Here are some suggestions to future guest:
If you want Free parking, don't check-in here as Parking is not free!
In the Hotel room we stayed in, carpet looked like it needed shampooing, bring a slipper if you like walking barefoot on carpet.
The hand soap has a sticky feeling after using, bring your own hand soap if you are finicky.
There are no racks to hang wet clothings for re-use, just hang your wet towel or swim suit on a hanger. Bring extra hangers if traveling with kids.
Aside from my suggestions, there is nothing to complain about!
Hotel room has all security features for peaceful sleeps and stay.
You can use your Hilton hotel app to go in and out of your room, no more room key to lose.
Enough furniture for comfort and convenience! Perfect for guest who eats out while on vacation, as hotel do not have Microwave and Refrigerator.
Happy to Stay here!

Stayed here after our son suffered a catastrophic spinal cord injury at Huntington Beach and was rushed to UC Irvine for emergency spinal cord injury. The front desk staff was amazing, they gave us coffee and all the supplies we needed due to staying almost a month until our son was moved to the Naval Medical Center in SanDiego. They had laundry facilities which were great since we only packed 4 outfits each due to flying out so quick to see our son. Everything was so close, shopping, resturants.highly recommend

Worst hotel experience ever at a Hilton hotel. Especially as a returning Hilton HHonors Gold member. The hotel used to be great. Now I'm embarrassed that I suggested to my family that we stay here.
I've tried calling at least 7 times during my stay and after to resolve various problems. Nobody ever answers the phone! Just keeps ringing or get the busy tone.
They advertise breakfast from 6am, and free hotel shuttle to Disneyland. Upon arrival we found that the hotel shuttle was not running but that we could take the city bus that picked up right outside the hotel. There's no city bus that picks up from this hotel either! Not true. Breakfast is advertised as starting at 6am but starts at 8am. We went down at 7am, the restaurant wasn't open. We were not informed of this at any time. No signs either. We paid for this hotel because breakfast and transportation were supposed to be included. Neither were. We overpaid by $50 per night for this outdated hotel. Requested wakeup call at 5: 45. Got a call at 5: 12am. Reception could not find our 2nd room on check in, same reservation number as our first room. Staff attitudes when asked about shuttle and breakfast are appalling "yea, they were supposed to change the website a while ago". Finally, I was billed for food, and didn't even receive the food credit as I was supposed to as a Hilton HHonors Gold member.
