My husband and I decided to move across the country for a work opportunity and were trying to figure out if renting or selling our house was the better option for us. We called Doug and from the start, he was eager to help. Doug presented benefits of both options and was able to provide recent home sales data to help us with our decision. In the end, we decided selling was the right decision for us and we also chose to work with Doug because he was friendly, knowledgeable, confident, experienced, cared about the community and easy to communicate with. Doug walked us through the entire process every step of the way. We always felt informed and confident things were moving along through the process; from getting our home ready to go on the market, having showings and an open house to accepting the best offer. Doug had professional pictures taken of our home and had a whole marketing campaign setup to make sure our house was out there and visible for all potential buyers to see. Doug was always available via email, text or a call if we had questions (this was our first time selling a house) and his replies were timely. The best part of working with Doug was he told us from he start that it was his job to worry and we should not as the process of selling a house and moving across the country can be stressful. Doug stuck to his promise because he kept us informed enough to know things were moving along, but also handled everything on his side to get us the best offer we could with a successful closing.
