My first interaction with Downey Dental was over 5 yrs ago when my Dad needed a root canal and no one would do it because he had cancer. This office took great care of my Dad. And now my Mom just finished her Dental journey and it makes me so happy to see how kind, patient and professional they are with her as well. Dr. Verdugo is wonderful.
I had a great experience at the periodontal department with Dr. Khorsandi. He did a fantastic job on my gums where I had no pain the next day. He’s very knowledgeable and does great work. I also really appreciate how friendly the staff are (Xóchitl, Sara and Reina). Very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Downey Dental Center.
They lie to you and don't believe what you are feeling in your mouth.
I had told them I feel pain in one tooth when I eat sweets and they said "ah it's probably just sensitivity, we don't see cavity in the X-RAY but you have a cavity in a different tooth" I said well o have no pain in that tooth you say I have a cavity, so they worked on that tooth. Next visit they said you have a cavity and I said yes I told you guys months ago I had pain! They like to do unnecessary procedures here just to bill bill bill the insurance. Watch out
I had a very good experience at Downey Dental Center. My dentist (Dr. Feiz) explained everything I needed, and that was very helpful. I hadn't been to a dentist in 8 years and I was very nervous. Kudos to treatment specialist (Reyna Duena) for explaining the treatment recommended by my doctor, and I really appreciate her patience in doing so. She was very kind and understanding. I would definitely recommend this dental practice to others who are looking for a dentist. They also have several different departments (orthodontics, periodontics, endodontics.) all in one building.
