Downtown Santa Monica

Shops mostly suck, not much to do here, security will harass you if you don't look the "type" and will regularly ask you to leave for no reason even if you are clearly shopping, I'm talking mostly about the mall area not the promenade, which is full of bums and annoying buskers that have no talent.

Paid parking through downtown all roads makes difficulties movement. Views are attractive specially beach.

Too quiet now in January 2024. Without people, which worries about the stability of the premises.
All empty. Not even Starbucks had people.
In January 2017 I loved it, it was one of my favorite places.
I was disappointed this year.

A suitable place for walking with the family and shopping, and I think it is more beautiful in the summer

Went just before Christmas, early afternoon, not lots of people, some stores closed, really not much to see and do.

Bought a Dodger jersey at Lids and had lunch at Barny's beanery. Not worth the drive in the early afternoon from Ontario.

Went to this beautiful store to buy few oriental bracelets and was greeted warmly by the lady with very good knowledge on stones. I had a very good experience and will be visiting again on my next visit to US. Thank you
