Doyle Dog Park reviews
17Everyday walking community park. Some might feel it is crowded since a lot of communities residentials around. Lot of people take their dogs here as well. Joined with a school on the other side.
For a wealthy area of town this dog park was downright bad. Lacking any shade and the areas themselves were just trashed. The residents around here need to have a little more pride in their park. The Santee dog park is much nicer and well maintained. Let that sink in.
Been there only once but it was very relaxing with various sections for different sports. Would recommend
Great place to take your pup. There's a fun community of regulars who meet up in the afternoon so, it's a great opportunity for dogs to make repeat friends. Plenty of room for long games of fetch. Can get a bit muddy after rain as there isn't any grass. Always a place to sit though. There are some lawn chairs that remain permanently in the park.
The park itself is a wonderful place with spacious dog runs, places to sit down, (although many people bring their own chairs) separated areas for large and small breeds. Need to be cautious only of owners who don't know their dogs can be aggressive. Most however have been respectful and well-meaning.
Two areas, one for small dogs and one for medium/large dogs. Kind of a small area in general.
It’s a pretty good location with some nice views. The dog park itself though is just a big spot of dirt. It’s also in a bit of a down slope, which is a little annoying. There’s usually a fair amount of dogs there any given time. There is a fenced in area for large dogs as well as a separate area for smaller dogs. After 5 PM it gets pretty busy.
It is a nice big park. Just make sure you are not taking dogs out in the play area of kids. I have seen people having altercations and some calling law
First, let's start with parking. There are two handicap parking spots at the top of the drive, other than that there are cars parked on both sides of the road which make it a single alley? Only one up and one out at a time, so parking may be an issue. The dog park itself, is a decent size for the area and is just a hard dirt ground? They do have a little bit of grass growing in the small dog park. There really is no seating except one bench and there is a tree? There is water in the upper corner, and fortunately most everybody that uses the dog park, likes to sit in a circle and talk with each other as you can clearly see in the video! But what they all don't like to do is pick up their dogs fecal matter? So walking around the dog park can be an interesting proposition or would that be poop-uation? But it also has a large group of super aggressive dogs hahaha and you can clearly see from the video? That has got to be one of the most playful loving groups of dogs I've ever seen
Friendly regulars, maintained twice weekly, split into two fenced parks for large and small dogs
The Doyle dog park big.one corner has especially for dogs and also basketball
Section, tennis, baseball ️and also for children
I enjoyed going there during visit la jolla
Separate areas for small/large dogs. Big enough for dogs to run around but not too big to lose track of your dog.
Great dog park with separate large and small dog areas. Mixture of dirt and grass. It's also lit at night.
Poorly behaved dogs with oblivious owners, in a small, dusty sandpit. I don't recommend if your dog is chill, well behaved, or laid back
Horrible place no one there trains their dogs at all. Walked in and immediately my dog got ganged up on by 5 other dogs all biting and chasing her, and me, and none of the owners did anything to help. Don't go here if you want a good dog park experience!
I have lived by this park for 26 years. It has steadily gone down hill. The city seems to have deserted it, and after the recent ADA renovation and taking away all the parking, everyone now parks on both sides of the street (it's really a driveway) and one side is faded red paint. It's a firetruck access. The city won't repaint the curb red no matter how much you ask. I have seen five drug deals happening in live time, have called the police each time, but the police won't come. On one call they said that, "everyone has a right to enjoy the park. " Drug dealers included! I walk here every day and it's a cluster**** park. Lots of off-leash abuses. A hot mess of a park that the city should want to care about. It's really sad. Lots of trash, and more.
