Seek no more you've found a professional, inviting, setting where everyone works as a team to go above and beyond for every individual patient's need's!

Horrible front staff. Rude announced my business said I wasn’t allowed on the property when I yelled because I wanted records. Regardless of how upset their was no violence I was so embarrassed as far as I am concerned they need kinder staff. My psychiatrist was a sharp lady. She knew what polymorphism was she was so kind that she wanted to me before standard rules. She told me she was concerned. First time I felt taken care of other than 2017. At a place in Newport. They did all my testing. Anyway Nonette Moseley that’s now at my new place but doesn’t treat me. I use to take my little standard weiner dog. She told me she got a standard? Like me. She was a great gal, I had physical health then and left.

Before I met Dr. Stepanoff and the team at Advances, I was a miserable and angry person. The first day I met Dr. Stepanoff, he really did listen to what was going on in my life even though to me it was a scattered brain vomit of words. After our initial meeting I was requested to do an assessment for the IOP program they offer and I met with Dr. Nieto,
Its been almost a year since I began using their services and with the tool they have provided, and encouragement they have given me I am almost a different person.
They have educated on what my diagnoses mean, how to manage them, and how to have healthy coping mechanisms to be successful, and it has been life changing.if you are like me, where i wanted to make a change within myself, and I was tired of being sad, tired, unfocused, angry, and anxious all the time I suggest give him a try.his staff is friendly and has always taken the time to explain things for me.he will give you the tools you’ll need to put you in a position to succeed if you follow his program whole heartedly. I don't even know where to start. The staff here lack professionalism as well as knowing how to call people back with something urgent. It seems they are also terrible at record taking. They're trying to charge me for no shows as well as appointments i apparently didnt pay for even though they wouldn't allow me to see the provider WITHOUT having paid first.so something isn't adding up. I have been waiting weeks to hear back from their billing or management team and nothing yet. The doctor wanted to place me on meds when I told him i didnt want to go that route. He kept trying to push them on to me even after the fact and kept forgetting all our prior discussions. I would also feel rushed out of his office. Not to mention i would arrive early to my appointments and wait nearly 2 hours to be seen at times. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

I was charged for services I did not receive. I tried to call the office to dispute some charges and it was impossible to talk to real person. It was their word against mine and they turned me into a collection agency for not paying a bill for an appointment that I never made.

This could not have been a worse experience. For our initial appointment, we waited at least 45 minutes to see The Dr. - you should know this was an appointment for our FIVE year old. We noticed that other patients had the same appointment time as us, and watched helplessly as several patients were admitted for what appeared to be 15 minute appointments. Once we were finally granted entry, the Dr.spent about 5 minutes talking to me before sending my son to take a TOVA. When we returned to the office (and after waiting another 40 minutes to see the Dr.), he diagnosed my son with ADD (We later learned that research and best practice in psychology suggests that TOVA, while useful, should not be used in isolation for diagnostic purposes). The Dr.then referred us to “behavior therapy” and told us he’d made us an appointment for us for the following week. When I asked questions about what this therapy was (was it provided by a BCBA? A qualified therapist? What type of therapy was it? What should we expect?) the Dr.gave zero explanation and rushed us off. In order to avoid the cancellation fee, we came to our “behavior therapy” appointment only to see upon signing in that we were double booked with another client. As we watched the waiting room fill with people, and realized there was no staff present to attend to patients (including providing keys to the restroom) we finally decided to leave after 20 minutes with a 5 year old child who was theoretically there to get treatment for ADD.as we were leaving, the woman who we were double booked with (who was also there for a child’s appointment) told us she had previously waited over an hour for her daughter’s appointment.the other patients lamented the wait times and told us to call to avoid cancellation fees because no staff would be available.here is the deal - and I am writing this in all caps so it draws your attention. THERE ARE MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE IN THIS BUSINESS BECAUSE THEY WANT TO HELP PEOPLE. AND THEN THERE ARE THE DR. STEPANOFFS OF THE WORLD WHO ARE IN THIS BUSINESS TO PROFIT OFF OF PEOPLE IN NEED.

Dr. Stepanoff is a great Dr! He was very resourceful and gave me clarity on what to do with my family situation. I feel relieved and I’m glad I came here. The ladies in the office are sweet every time I come in.

I have been going to Dr Stepanoff for years and i have refered couple of friends and everything was great now i called the 11 /13 and they said the earliest appointment would be the 29 th. Now i called back to confirm and i was put on hold for 18 mins i hanged up and called again i was put on hold for 14 mins then she said she can not find it. Then she hanged up so i called back and they are closed. Its sad for a great doctor to have such a bad team. Very disrespectful

Well I can't give them a higher score because we never got to make an appointment. I called and spoke with someone she asked a few questions and put me on a "quick" hold. I thought she was going to come back on and help me schedule an appointment but I was left on hold. I ended up hanging up and calling back, she answered the phone and said please hold there is 5 people ahead of you, I replied yes I am one of those 5 people, then she put me on hold again. I just hung up. When I'm trying to get treatment for my child I'm not going to sit on hold if they are that busy get someone to help answer these calls.

Dr. Stepanoff, PsyD saw me over at their office on PCH, I had situational depression and anxiety and sought help to enable myself to regain control and balance. He was empathetic and had my best interest at heart. I voluntarily enrolled in their intense out patient DBT program which consisted of 2 group sessions, one DBT class and private counseling. It is well organized and the staff is wonderful. I am so thankful for Dr. Stepanoff and his team and the skills I have gained to help get back on track.

Dr stepanoff is a great Dr. He and his team has help me in many ways. If you have any mental disorder he and his team can help. I can’t thank him an his team enough for what he has provided for me. They have changed my life. Thank you for your hard work

I wasn’t happy with the first impression. Dr Stepanoff gave an immediate diagnosis to my 10 year old and wanted to proscribe medication without alternative options after a 5 min “evaluation”. He then opened his office door to rush us out for the next patient to be seen. Obviously I wasn’t going to leave without having my questions answered. I felt very uncomfortable with the treatment/service. It’s a shame to know there are doctors that don’t take the best interest of the patient. I took my “business” elsewhere.

Dr. Stepanoff & all the staff are super nice, down to earth and efficient. Helpful with everything and easy to get a hold of.
