Dr. Dan's Pediatric Dentistry, Los Angeles CA

Dr. Dan and his staff are phenomenal. My 2.5 year old daughter has gone into hysterics at the mere mention of the word "dentist" for over a year now. When we actually went I essentially pin her down while they looked at her teeth. I decided that we *had* to switch dentists for her sanity.

My daughter started crying the moment we walked in the door, bur Dr. Dan and his entire staff just slowed down and met her where she was at. We spent half an hour just talking, and letting her play. The strategy was to just let her get comfortable and build trust, so that hopefully we could come back next week and do an actual checkup.

It worked beautifully. My daughter only had a little anxiety when we returned the next week. Dr. Dan was able to do an exam, and she didn't even realize it was happening because she thought they were just playing. I am so deeply grateful to have found a dentist office that knows it is not only possible, but important to build trust and a rapport with their younger patients.

I cannot recommend this practice anymore highly. Phenomal.

Love the doc! He has wonderful bedside manners. Both the doc and tech were able to educate us on how to keep our baby girl’s oral health in top condition!

From my first visit at Dr. Dan's 2 years ago, I have been impressed with their service and professionalism. I have seen quite a few medical/dental professionals in my life and Dr. Dan is probably the best medical provider I have ever experienced. I wish he was my dentist. We moved out of the area and I drive an hour each way with my kid just to see him.

Kids love visiting Dr. Dan’s office. As a parent, I know our kids’ teeth are taken care of with Dr. Dan, as a preventative measure before any major dental problems occur. It is clear that Dr. Dan is passionate and cares about his patients and his work.

I just love this dental office! First of all, it looks so welcoming for kids. Everyone is so friendly, and Dr. Dan is simply awesome with my kids. He makes fun with them and makes them feel comfortable He takes his time so he can actually fix their dental problems.

Very patient and good with my son who is afraid of the dentist and generally doesn't like anyone poking at him. We scheduled several visits just to accommodate him, and Dr Dan and his staff are always so polite and professional, as well as informative so parents get recommendations for care.

My girls have been seeing Dr Dan for a couple years and they absolutely LOVE him, and so do we. He makes the experience so wonderful and FUN. Yes, a fun dentist! They look forward to seeing him weeks ahead of the appointment.

Dr. Dan's office is a pleasure. Dr. Amy is wonderful for my brother and I just made an appointment for myself. The staff is respectful and helpful. The office is state of the art modern top equipment and very spacious. We love the cheerful waiting room with colorful handprints of patients with names and dates. The staff immediately offered us seltzer to drink! We're so lucky Dr. Dan is down the block from our home, so easy for us to access.

This doctor change my life from drag my kids to go to the dentist to ask me every 2 weeks if it’s already time to go to the dentist. Dr. Dan is an amazing person and even more professional

What an incredible dentist and human. Dr Dan is one of the most approachable, kind, knowledgeable and thoughtful people I’ve instantly liked. He loves what he does. He’s great with kids (I have a teen). Instant trust. Answered so many things we wished we’d known. My kid is so happy we switched. So are we.

As a first time mom, I was very anxious about my daughter’s first dentist visit. But Dr. Dan immediately made us feel warm and well taken care of. Our little girl smiled the entire visit! I was truly blown away by and so appreciative of Dr. Dan’s patience, kindness, and expertise.
