Dr. David Shen, MD, Long Beach CA

I chose this physician as my primary care provider over a month ago. I was accepted as a new patient, but when I called to come in today they told me “we are no longer accepting new patients”. I told them “but I’m already a patient and you’ve accepted as one over a month ago” the lady just kept saying “sorry you’re going to have to get a new primary doctor as this physician is not seeing new patients. This is ridiculous and unprofessional I never received any type of message or memo of this and it has become a great inconvenience as I am in great pain and won’t be able to see my new primary care provider until I’ve been accepted as a patient. ZERO stars for Shen and his staff!
