Dr. Fabi is an amazing Orthopaeduc surgeon.
I had my right hip replaced on Friday morning, and was walking with the assistance of a Walker, the next day.
Had Physical Therapy on Sunday, and was walking without any assistance on Monday. Suggest that if you follow his guidance, along with your PT, you will be back to normal within 3 weeks. I plan to be back to running, in 3 months; want to be sure, I am completely healed. Walking the dog 3x's/day, 1-2 miles each time.
Walking and icing regularly, will help with your recovery.

48yr old male, active Dad & Husband, avid surfer & ocean fisherman, bone on bone left hip for a year (should have done it sooner!), pain everyday, every step, couldn’t take out the trash, water the plants, or hardly walk! Pain affected my mood. Dr. Fabi gave me a 2nd lease on living! It’s been 4 weeks post-op and I’m forgetting I even had surgery (guess I’m back on trash & watering duties again). Was walking day 1, back to work on week 2 (only bad part?). The old me is back, happier than ever. We are so lucky to have such a great surgeon and amazing team in San Diego. Dr. Fabi made my hip replacement easy. I never thought, in my wildest dreams, a total hip replacement could be anything but a long and challenging process. But thanks to Dr. Fabi and his outstanding team, I was able to start living life again without missing a beat. Although every surgery is different, I was able to go home the same day to start healing. His work was so well done I never needed to take any pain meds because aside from some stiffness and swelling, I never had any pain! This is the second hip replacement I have had and I must say that although I was not disappointed with the first (done by a different doctor) this one went way smoother and with a much quicker recovery time. I responded much better to the technique that Dr. Fabi used. His team at the surgery center in Escondido is a fantastic group and have been so helpful pre and post op. Thank you again Dr. Fabi and team for your great care and bed side manner. This was the most satisfying operation I've ever had.

Dr. Fabi is very friendly and personable. He made sure I understand everything about the surgery and answered all of my questions.

Ridiculous 6 weeks to get an appointment and then waited for 2 hours.
Just left no respect for the patients time.

Dr. Fabi is an excellent Orthopedic surgeon. He did my left Total Hip Replacement in May and I was back home walking the same day. I came from Spain just to find him as one of the best surgeon in San Diego. I have no more pain in my hip and my recovery has been smooth and successfully good.
