I actually enjoyed improved tooth-cleaning methods this week with Henderson's office new dental equipment employed by wonderful hygienist Aubra and check-up by Dr. Denise. Back again in 6 months!

Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable. Great location with parking! Couldn't have stated better. Add great communication.

I have been going to this dentist office since 1985. The office is a relaxed environment and kid friendly. Dr. Denise is easy to talk to, listens to my concerns, and answers all my questions. I enjoy talking to the staff and even though I live 30 miles away, I will continue to travel the long distance to get my teeth cleaned.

I would like to commend Dr. Henderson for her good bedside manner and technique, qualities that would warrant a 5-star rating in any other circumstance. However, my experience with her practice has compelled me to assign just one star due to what I can only describe as a "scam-like" situation concerning treatment estimates and billing.

My family recently relocated to the Bay Area, necessitating the search for a new dental practitioner. After my initial examination with Dr. Henderson, she recommended an onlay procedure for one of my partially cracked teeth. At the time, I was hesitant, as the tooth was fully functional with no pain or discomfort. Nevertheless, I chose to trust her professional judgment, especially considering the pre-treatment estimate I received, indicating that my insurance would cover 80% of the cost. This estimate led me to believe that the procedure would cost me a little over $400.

However, following the treatment, I experienced pain and sensitivity in my tooth for nearly three months. To add to my frustration, I received a bill for over $700 in the mail. When I reached out to the doctor's office to express my concerns, the receptionist informed me that they were not responsible for the pre-estimate, leaving me bewildered as to why such estimates were provided to patients if they could not be relied upon.

In an attempt to understand the situation better, I contacted my insurance company, only to learn that Dr. Henderson's office had never submitted a treatment estimate through the insurance system – a standard practice that reputable dentists usually follow. This omission meant that I, as a patient, had no opportunity to be informed about the potential costs beforehand and was left with an unexpected and burdensome bill.

In conclusion, I am posting this complaint here because Dr. Henderson's practice failed to provide me with a transparent and accurate estimate for my treatment. Patients should not be led to believe in a "fake" lower payment estimate, and I believe this situation warrants careful consideration for anyone considering their services.

Dr. Denise Henderson and her staff have provided excellent dental care for me and my family for years.

My experience was perfect in every way. My teeth felt much better after having a cleaning and everyone is so friendly, I always feel well taken care of!

Dr. Henderson gives unhurried and focused time and attention to to every question and concern, and responds with expert and very helpful advice. She keeps me smiling!
