Called to let them know that spouse in ER, and want to keep appt as diagnosis is 6 to 12 month life expectancy and need to be sure care plan in place. Told me we had to cancel the appt because they won't have info for today's ER visit. Asked to talk to doctor, she told me I was rude etc. THEN HUNG UP ON ME. Should be supportive and compassionate. I truly wish that none in this office ever experience this devastating type of life event and find compassion for those who do.
