I have been a patient in the expert care of Dr. James Wen Chu for several years. I must say that he is among the most efficient, intelligent, and knowledgeable doctors i have ever known! I am so grateful to have him care for me.
This doctors office called me 1 hour before the appointment and cancelled an appointment that I was waiting for 8 months. They were asking me to wait another 3 months to meet with a different doctor while I am here dying from sickness.
The person who called to cancel was so rude on the phone and refused to help finding an earlier appt.
There guys are just in it for your money, they don't care if you die. Go find a better doctor.
When I missed that there was a 2 day confirmation for a Tuesday new patient appointment that I needed to call to confirm by the previous Friday, I called early the day of my appointment to see if I was still booked. I didn't receive a call back so I assumed it had been cancelled. At the time of my appointment they called me saying I was missing it but by then I had moved on with my day and wasn't ready to jump out the door and asked if it could be rescheduled. I was then informed that if I wanted to book again I would have to pay $150 for a no show fee. Does this make sense to anyone? Since I didn't get back to them and it was cancelled, how can there be a no show fee? As a professional business, shouldn't they have called me back from the voicemail I left to let me know whether or not I had an appointment still? If they hadn't confused me by the 2 day confirmation I would have just showed up and you wouldn't be reading this long rant. He might be a great doctor but I'll never know because having heartless policies like this definitely doesn't say trust me with your health.
James W. Chu is truly a professional in his field. He goes above and beyond with his medical services. I not only respect him as as an Endocrinologist but as a person as well. I highly recommend Dr. Chu for your medical needs.
