Excellent patient care. Pain management specialist. Dr. Tolliver takes the time to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. His staff works hard to make sure all your paperwork and scheduling get done in a timely manner. Work comp treatment specialist.

Dr Toliver is always engaged with you and takes the time to hear what you have been experiencing physically. He is companionate and kind.

This physician provides fast, accurate service in taking care of aches and pains. I had a very serious lower back ache. I couldn’t stand or walk for more than a few minutes before I had to sit down. One epidural from Dr. Toliver and two days later the ache was nearly gone. Three days later the ache was gone. Five days later I once again enjoyed walking the San Diego zoo, ache free. I’m 86 years old.

I e been seeing Dr Toliver for 12 years now. Not only for pain management he also gives me epidurals as needed. He’s the best doctor Ive ever had. His staff personnel are also excellent! Wonderful!

When having an emergency request on a Friday afternoon your odds of a positive outcome are slim! Dr Toliver responded promptly and did not hesitate to assist me with my request. I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Toliver was pretty useless for me. Took 2 months for an appointment with a referral from a back surgeon. He must be really good. I was excited to find a great doctor to fix my ongoing back issues. I went in with back pain. He didn't know what was wrong, so he ordered a MRI. Fair enough. My insurance denied the request because physical therapy wasn't done. However, I stated I had done physical therapy in my office visit. That was missing from his notes. After many non answered calls and messages, I finally spoke with Louie from his office who told me to speak to my insurance company. However, I convinced him this is something that needed to be amended on their end as I can't change the missing PT on the doctor's report. Many weeks go by with nothing. I called multiple times and left a message.

He billed my insurance $429.00 for an office visit. I owed $239.16 out of pocket. Thanks Cigna. You think that would buy the doctor simply amending and re-submitting the report Nope!

I was told the doctor was "too busy" to amend the report. However, he did have cancellations and I can book another appointment. Lucky me! The doctor has the time to bill another $429 dollars, but didn't have the time to correct HIS mistake and re-submit the report to the insurance. No thank you. I'd rather live with the pain.

Excellent; Dr Toliver is personable, thorough, and takes time to understand and explain your medical condition.

Dr. Toliver did not rush his talk explaining how he felt about my problem. We then decided he would go ahead and inject my back. The procedure went just as he had said and it was not painful!
