3I went into the office to personally ask for an appointment because when I call I haven't been able to get anyone to answer the phone & had to leave a VM. Never received a call back. Ask for an appointment with Dr. Lyche and was told Dr. Lyche couldn't see me until next year (March 2024) & all I could see is a PA. I informed them that I needed to personally see the Dr.insted of phone appointments with the PA Tatiana anymore. I have a Portal Vein Thrombosis and need to physically see Dr. Lyche & no longer do the virtual phone appointments. Tis is why I'm giving Dr. Lyche and staff 1 star. Would've given zero stars if I could. Now I'm looking for a new Doctor.
Dr Lyche and his MA are very caring and responsive. I have been a patient of IVGA since 2004. I love that I can now text instead of call when I have a need or issue. No more phone tag and timely responses and resolutions always.
It has been quite a few years since Dr. Lyche (et al) literally saved my life. The continuing support since then has been no less stellar. I have only but to contact Kathy with any question or concern, and I receive a prompt and thorough response. Being a patient at Island View Gastroenterology is a constant in my life that I can depend on.
