Horrible grimey doctors office. Don't bother coming here. I think this is a suboxone clinic, not a regular doctors office. Medi-Cal automatically assigned me to this place through Anthem Blue Cross insurance. I called to make an appointment. After spending 2 hours filling out the patient intake form which asked for a TON of personal information that doctors don't usually ask for, I showed up 15 mins early for my appointment and was the only person there. I spent the next hour waiting in the dirty waiting room with ripped chairs, dirty floors, holes in the wall, while the nurses played on their phones in the office behind bulletproof glass. While waiting in the waiting room, I heard the doctors in the next room over having a casual conversation on the phone with somebody about some kind of construction. I heard every word of his conversation (no soundproofing at all for patient confidentiality). I finally got frustrated and walked out. I was never called back by the doctor or nurses. This is the pleasure of having Medi-Cal, I couldn't imagine paying for insurance to get offered doctors offices like this.

I had made an appointment months in advance. I have cancer symptoms, and it’s very serious. They called me 2 days before my appointment, and said the doctor was leaving early, and my appointment would either be cancelled or I could come in several hours earlier. I tried to call them to tell them I’m taking the bus, and it’s a 27 mile ride, but they never answered. A GOOD doctor doesn’t flake out on their appointments because they want to leave early for vacation. This guy has zero empathy, or integrity.

Apparently gastroenterologists as a bunch seem to be especially poorly reviewed, which was news to me. But after my experience, I'll throw my hat in the lot with the rest of you.

Unilaterally making appointments for patients is odd, and not telling them until the day before is even odder. Here's the kicker: they did this AFTER failing to send out my request for an early colonoscopy, which was recommended by three doctors. Only when I called did they finally send it out. Gottaa love a doctor's office that screen for potential cancer sitting on medical requests with nary a concern. Wonderful.

Breeze needs to be socialized better to deal with, you know, humanity. And Ashely, well, seems content to make appoitnments without telling patients.

The doctor is allowing all of this lack of cohesion and disorganization to continue unabated, so it obviosuly betrays a stunning lack of professionalism bordering on malpractice.

Stay away from this office.
