I'm not near Santee, but for an appointment I only do once or twice a year, I will always make the trip to see Dr. Makor. She was relatable, quick and did a wonderful job explaining my results and needs in laymans terms. 10/10, especially if you're looking for a black doctor. Also honors VSP copay, but call to confirm.

Dr. Makor is very friendly. She will sit with you for as long as you have questions. I really wanted to try daily contacts so she gave me samples to try on until I found the ones that gave me the best vision. She's Very thorough and all the staff is friendly.
