He is one of the best doctors I have had. He takes time to explain, make himself available for contact, and is a wonderful surgeon. He handled an emergency surgery for me that had complications, and did it with great competency.

I have not had the surgery yet and have not decided if I will, but met Dr. Awad today via telemedicine and found him very informative and personable. I am looking forward to exploring this process to see if it is right for me.

I felt Dr. Awad was extremely careless when it came to my wellbeing. I had many complications after Bariatric surgery and he made me feel as if everything was my fault. “I was making myself sick” “it was all in my head” “Mirna are you stressed? ” Everything was fault! I never had the support that I needed from my surgeon! If you have no complications you’ll have an amazing experience with him (from what I’ve seen, since he came highly recommended) but if you have complications, forget it! Get yourself another surgeon.

Dr. Awad is the best Dr. I have ever seen. He has saved my life. His staff is also the best.

My recent visit to Dr Awad's office left much to be desired. The ordeal began with a seemingly endless wait just to get through the doors, which, unfortunately, set the tone for the rest of the experience. Once inside, the wait continued in the examination room, leaving me with an ample amount of time for contemplation.

Regrettably, the staff contributed significantly to the overall dissatisfaction. Unfriendly and unapologetic, their demeanor reflected a lack of empathy and professionalism. Long faces and a complete absence of smiles only exacerbated the already tense atmosphere.

To add insult to injury, I found myself in a situation where I had to reschedule, further inconveniencing my already stretched schedule. The staff's response to this situation remained disappointingly unapologetic.

In the realm of healthcare, where compassion and efficiency should be paramount, this experience fell drastically short. I hope for improvement in both the operational efficiency and the overall attitude of the staff to create a more positive environment for patients.

Dr. Awad is an amazing doctor. He actually takes the time out to listen to you & gives you the proper advice that you need truthfully. Great personality. All the staff members were kind & attentive. Highly recommended

Dr Awad took me on as a new patient, I had moved from the east coast and started having trouble with my 14 year old lap band. He took care of me as if he had taken care of me from the beginning of my journey. Highly recommended.

I have been seeing Dr. Awad since March 2023 to get gastric bypass surgery and he has been nothing but caring, reliable, respectful, straightforward, and he’s probably the best doctor I know. Any questions or concerns I had were quickly answered and eased by Dr. Awad, his office, or his assistants. I got my surgery on 11/22, was discharged 11/23 and was up and walking around 2 hours after waking up. I didn’t feel any pain whatsoever after waking up or even now on 12/04. I highly recommend Dr. Awad.

I just had the sleeve done. I would like to say Dr Awad and his team are amazing. Dr awad makes sure to inform you about the procedure, as well as makes sure you are ready. He addresses any concerns you may have while making you feel welcomed and calm. The orientations helped provide intell as well as samples of some of the protein drinks and vitamins to be had. Although the initial diet was hard Dr Awad and his team were there when I needed them. I had fears due to past experiences with surgeries and Dr awad and his team were on it. All out amazing experience.

Dr. Ramy is always honest with me but never looked at me with judgment. He is so positive that when I don’t think I can lose the weight, he has a way to reassure me, and by the end of the conversation I believe I can.
