Dr. Robert L. Waguespack reviews
6 Dr. Waguespack is our 3rd urologist since my husband had his hernia surgery & subsequent stroke.
I thank God every day that we found him. We finally found a down to earth Dr.that truly cared. He listened, answered all our questions, offered best options for his specific condition & didn't delay in treatment. He is kind, compassionate, thoughtful & a very knowledgeable/skilled surgeon. After 2 years of wearing a Foley catheter my husband is catheter free & able to urinate on his own.
Dr. Waguespack's office staff are also exceptional. Friendly, courteous & very helpful. You know it's a good work environment when everyone is happy & joking.
My husband was not able to urinate after his surgery & had a urinary catheter placed. The specialist at the time told us it maybe permanent due to his stroke. He wore it over a year & we decided to get a second opinion since his urinary issue existed "before" the stroke.
Dr. #2 out of Lancaster, had 30+ yr old equipment, a torn & archaic exam table & offered procedures that didn't exist in our area. He also promised to cure all my husband's aging related medical problems with his proprietary (fountain of youth) supplements. Last straw was leaving my husband on the too short exam table, naked from the waist down in a cold room for over an hour only to find out DR. #2 was not in the building, still at lunch & they couldn't locate him.
I would give Dr.
Waguespack & his staff 10 stars if it were available.
I Cannot Recommend this Dr.was not focused on the area where I was having trouble, seemed to be more focused on procedures done by other doctor. Guess you call it shotgun medicine, I heard that term years ago from a doctor now I know what it means.
Also do your do diligence on billing, that department will send it to a collection agency to intimidate you but when you call or stop by the office to pay, you’ll find it more often than not.they are closed.
Office when you reply, it’s rhetorical, so no need to start off with HIPAA or any other thing avoiding to comment. Let’s all just do better.
Great staff. Reasonable wait time. Professional and knowledgeable doctor with great demeanor!
My father was diagnosed with colon cancer and a bladder mass, suspected to be cancer. He was supposed to undergo a procedure to address both issues and 3 days prior to the procedure, Dr Waguespack informed my father that he would not be doing the procedure because he owed a $170 bill from 2 years ago. The bill had been sent the wrong address for the past 2 years. My father paid the bill immediately, the day that Dr. Waguespack cancelled his procedure. Dr Waguespack is refusing to see my father for this procedure at all, even though there is a high likelihood that he has a cancerous bladder mass. He has absolutely NO compassion, cancelling a procedure for a cancer patient with 3 days notice over $170 bill. I’m disgusted by this doctor and recommend any patients who may be considering him to RUN.
Nice, caring doctor. Staff gets 10 stars. They all work together to make calls, get you appointments, and figure out why other offices are struggling to get my husband what he needs. They answer calls and get back to you. A+ work for Dr and staff.
