Dr. Roy Phillips, DPM Podiatrist, San Diego CA

Such a pleasure meeting Dr Phillips today! He is 'old school' in the best possible way. He fit my brother in for a last minute appointment even though he was getting ready to finish up for the holidays. He took great care of my brother's toe. My brother practically skipped out. I would highly recommend him!

Had a hang nail problem on my big toe that was becoming painful to walk. Called around for a Podiatrist, Most can't see me for weeks. Found Dr. Phillips website. A bit lacking in information about him but he has good reviews on both Google and Yelp. Called the number and he was able to see me the same day. The doctor was friendly and knowledgeable.took care of my toe problem. He is added to my regular doctors list. I would highly recommend Dr. Phillips!

This man was kind enough to take me in the same day I had a very painful infected ingrown toe nail. He’s extremely generous and comforting. His experience, knowledge, and skills are all the reason to go see him if you need a podiatrist in San Diego.

Dr. Phillips is amazing. They don't make doctors like this anymore. He has a wonderful bedside manner, and reminded me of the family physician we had years ago. I called his office for a consultation, and he answered the phone himself. He was very accommodating about scheduling an appointment. His office is not fancy, but it is comfortable and lacks the pretension of more modern offices. He did a minor procedure on my toe, and he was very patient injecting the local anesthetic and allowing it to fully numb before he began making the incision. The procedure was as painless as possible and really did improve my toe. I also expected to pay a lot more than he charged me for this procedure. If I need more work done on my feet, I will definitely return. I highly recommend his services!

Took me in on the same day. Didn’t know what to expect. (I had never seen a podiatrist before.) Dr. Phillips is funny and very nice! I had an ingrown nail, he fixed it, and now it’s all better! I definitely plan on coming back to have my plantar fasciitis treated. And I will definitely recommend.

Office is still open and Dr. Phillips is an amazing comedian and Podiatrist! I highly recommend him.

How is it that no one is there to answer a phone call.not even some kind of greeting stating you're closed, open, out to lunch, with a patient, something would be nice.
<<<<UPDATE>>>> Dr. Roy is one of the gems in this age of shuffling through life. He's a one man show who gives you the care of yesteryear something you can't find these days. When you do get someone live it's him, and he is the one calling you back and following up with you. I suggested an answering machine be put to use.

I have a good insurance and I had my ingrown nail removed many times by other people but no one was like Roy. I’m so glad I called and came in. He received me last minute, patiently and with great jokes! Doct Roy Kept me distracted and happy at all times. Thank you for taking the pain away from me and doing an amazing Job! We need more doctors like you.
