5I'm extremely pleased with Dr Aqeel and her staff. I have found them professional, friendly and helpful. They have a way of making their patients feel relaxed and comfortable which is not the case in most doctor's offices. My former Endocrinologist retired and I feel very lucky that I found Dr Aqeel.
I do not recommend this place. Not only are you scheduling appointments a month ahead they do not keep up on their paperwork. I went to an appointment they scheduled and they told me my referral was expired. Sad part is that it was not they just can't keep there paperwork in order. Doctor was rude when asked what other options can be done so I can go to the appointment they scheduled with me. Will never go here again.
She is wonderful - seemed to be really concerned about my challenges - plus, Dr RA may have solved 1or 2 issues that has not been solved/diagnosed for YEARS by other Dr's.to early to tell - but seems to be improving after 4days! - - she gave me HOPE for a better future so far.granted -it IS HARD to get appointments and communicate with her office - but she IS SMART Lady - - caring - listened to me - and I will update this report MORE in future about my health - - - I hope I have to buy her Candy and FLOWERS due to her curing meeeee - - so far - so good.the lower rating by others here is NOT warranted - I am glad I met her - - - CaptainDave Lake Arrowhead (I drive 42 miles to see her!) -namaste' ;)
Soooo I needed to cancel an appt for tomorrow and called ALL morning getting some weird message that there was no voice mail set up. THEN I FINALLY get the exchange who tells me they are out of the office and I should call back. I tell the exchange that I need to cancel an appointment for tomorrow and I've tried to reach the office all morning to no avail and can she just take a message. She then rudely cuts me off, puts me on hold and never returns! What kind of answering exchange does this? I'm NOT going to be liable for a missed appt because of an unprofessional answering service!
Dr Aqeel has been treating me for many years. She has always investigated my symptoms thoroughly and worked hard to find answers for my medical issues. She also communicates well with my other doctors. I have not had any difficulty getting my prescriptions filled or with getting paperwork for my lab tests.
