Dr. Ryan Dellamaggiora, Los Angeles CA

Very disappointed!

one day I couldn’t move my arm/shoulder, while dr. Dellamaggiora is on vacation he left a female doctor named Spencer, looking after his patients, she didn’t give me a prescription for a MRI I had to ask my MD for it, Spencer tells me she would call me, once she got the mri results never did meantime I went & got the results, no doctor to read it, I brought the disk & the results to dr. Dellamaggiora’s office again no doctors available to read it nor to download the disk, so I left!

I brought the MRI results to my physical Terapist & he read it & he told me I should see my shoulder doctor, I Agreed!

So I had to go to UCLA and got a doctor to see me right away, and read the MRI & explain it to me, meanwhile I’m still waiting for spencer to call me and never did, I heard dr. Dellamaggiora is back to work, have not heard from him either!
I asked for an appointment, just because he’s been my shoulder dr. For a while, the next available appointment is in 6 weeks, Spencer is the worst, if this is his assistant and I have to deal with her? No thank You!

It’s time to get a new Shoulder doctor!

Do your research.

Afrer waiting for over one hour while no one infomred me in advance that the doctor was going to be late. No one did not stop by the small office to see how I was doing since they also had the door closed in such a small confined area or even stop by to ask if need anything or even a glass of water. Doctor Dellamaggiora finally showed up and I noticed that he had not even had reviewed my file or looked at the xray of my hand which was taken at his office ealier. What was more anoying was to realized that he his office did not have the monitor or display equipment in order for him to go over the result of xray with me as his patient and explain the result, instead I noticed from the moment I had walked in, the assistant had prepered the medication with needles to be injected in my hand sitting on the table. No expression or regrate or a simple appology for been that late were expressed by this doctor or his assistance.
As a memeber of Cedars Sinai for over 18 years, I find this practice and conduct unacceptable and expressed my dissapoinment with him and his staff. No pology was ever made. He looked at me in a suprise way and told his staff that i was cancelling the appointment. I also complained to him about the conversation I had with front office upon checking in telling me that they don't care about electronic check in provided by CS link and that they have nothing to do with CS link and I am still required to compelete the paperwork per doctor's instruction!
As a patient of Cedars- Sinai with over 18 years, I am suprised and very disappointed with the poor quality patient care service and hospitality and treatment by this doctor and his staff I had recieved. I am wondering that if Cedars Sinai quality and hospitality of outpatient service may have declined and caused by over booking patients. I have personally ovserved many of these declined quality of service during my many several different doctor visits at Cedars Sinai for the last 24 months.
You would think after almost 30 days waiting to see this doctor, the least he could have done was to be prepared or berifed about my medical condition and reason for my visit which is available at his office via CS link! After all he is a doctor which work and represent Cedars Sinai and I am a patient and member of Cedars Sinai with all information available electronically for him to review at his convenience!
