I visited his office in August. In January I received a bill with additional charges that I was never advised about. Once I called them, the rude staff stated that they don’t have to advise patients of extra charges and it is what it is. I would definitely not go back and would not refer him. Please choose wisely!

Dr. Aminpour is an excellent doctor with a great bedside manner.
Extremely knowledgeable. Excellent diagnostician finding the problems and determining a treatment plan.
Gentle treatment of patients injury with a focus on relaxing them and make them feel comfortable during a scary time for some people.
Very professional office completely self-sufficient with all current equipment.
These include a new CT Scanner in office for quick testing rather than having the patients go to another facility for testing.
We are very happy with the treatment for repairing our injury to our satisfaction.

Imagine living your entire life in black and white, until one day you see colors for the first time. That's how i felt as the doctor was pulling the packing from my right nostril.
But I digress, let me fill you in on the details,
Towards the middle of last year i went diving and upon jumping head first into the water, i raptured my eardrum, a doctors visit later (not Dr Amnipour) and some imaging later we discovered that i have an obstructed nasal passage and the office recomended me a balloon Sinuplasty, after assuming that i would need a balloon sinuplasty, i went to Doctor Shervin Amnipour's office for a second Opinion. The doctor told me straight away that since my obstruction is caused by a deviated septum, i would not benefit a greatly from a balloon sinuplasty and he recommended me a Septoplasty, i decided to go with Dr Amnipour for a few reasons:
The staff was always kind to me.
The doctor always saw me personally whenever i came.
The office was always available by phone for whatever request i had and to address any or whatever questions i had, and i had a lot.
They always made accommodations for me to come on a short notice since my schedule is crazy.
I was operated on at the Vytal medical center in tarazana
The experience was not pleasant, but thats as much you can expect from an invasive procedure, i was not up and about after 3 days.take into account, if you work by presenting yourself to people, you would not be able to work for AT LEAST the first week until the packing is removed.during the first week you will feel as though you have chopsticks stuck in your nostrils, holding your nose straight. There will be discharge from the wound and will interrupt your breathing until the packing is removed, following the post op instructions is Essential for you to make a quick and complete recovery. After the packing is removed, the change in your breathing will be: immense, substantial and most of all, worth every penny you paid for it
As someone that was disappointed from the American medical industry, Dr. Amnipour and his team present a shining light in a very dark tunnel. It is hard to find someone that cares about their craft as much as Dr. Amnipour.
10/10 and i know exactly who ill be going to if i need an ENT or Plastic surgeon

DO NOT TRUST! Super rude staff. Zero customer service. They called to have me book an appointment. When I said “no. I’m visiting another dr. ” They called me names and hung up the phone. Avoid them 100%. Biggest scam. They only care for money and not your health.

Be aware people. This Dr.is such a scam. He only cares about making money and adding additional stuff to your bill. He added additional charges to my bill without advising me. He stated that I need to get 2 surgeries. When I went to another DR.for second opinion, the second Dr.advised me to be careful because Dr. Aminpour only cares about money. Rude staff. STAY AWAY.

I made a last minute call to schedule an appointment and they were able to fit me in. While I was there, it seemed chaotic, but the environment itself was controlled and smooth. My initial wait time was an hour with an appointment, but expect a lot of people with appointments and walk-ins. The last thing anyone wants is to be rushed through a consultation and not get a proper diagnosis. Dr. Aminpour was very helpful and his staff was awesome. The day of my surgery went really great and I am breathing a lot better. I would recommend this place to anyone suffering from a deviated septum.

Dr. Aminpour performed a balloon sinuplasty on me in December 2021 to clear an infection and open my sinus passages. He claimed that he adequately anesthetized me prior to performing the procedure. However, as he went deeper into my sinuses with the scope, the pain became so intense that I cried and yelled for him to stop. He did not stop. He continued on despite my discomfort and completed the procedure. I was left bleeding, nauseated, in a cold sweat, and on the verge of passing out. They had to recline me and apply cold compresses until I felt better.

Afterwards, this arrogant doctor had the audacity to tell me that I "just had a low threshold for pain. " No. I don't. His lack of concern for my well-being was galling and insulting.

Following the procedure his staff demanded payment up front, ended up overbilling me and after the insurance company settled the bill they have refused to refund the overpayment.

The whole experience was traumatic and I do NOT recommend this doctor. He is running a sinuplasty/septoplasty factory and has little regard for his patients other than how much money he can siphon from them.

Horrible and arrogant doctor who was verbally abusive during my apt. He doesn’t take time to explain what he is doing and just goes right in and does it. He has a rough hand and will cause excruciating pain. He gets very defensive if you ask questions which makes you think what is he hiding or feeling guilty about or is he doing his job correctly. Can’t trust a doctor who gets very defensive and turns it around on the patient and angrily, verbally assaults them. The nurse was in the room when his angry outburst occurred. She felt so bad and apologized after. I’m in the healthcare field and have never left a review for another healthcare provider. His behavior was appalling, shocking and ABUSIVE. Please spare yourself the trauma and go somewhere else.

Dr. Aminpour is a tremendously talented specialist.

Dr Aminpour is such a great doctor and really good guy as well. I’ve had sinus issues my whole adult life. I was always told it was allergies. I recently saw Dr Aminpour and found out I had a deviated septum. He did a septoplasty procedure and I feel better than I have in a long time. Dr Aminpour and everyone on his staff are very kind and professional. It feels good to breathe clearly. So a little bit after my surgery I had an issue with my voice. I went to see Dr Aminpour. He saw a little cyst on my vocal cord. He immediately took out his cell phone and called the vocal cord expert (Dr Aaron Feinstein) directly. Straight up baller move. I was in Dr Feinstein’s office the same day. I can’t say enough about how lucky I feel to have Dr Aminpour looking out for me

I can not express enough how great my experience was with Dr. Aminpour who performed my rhinoplasty. He is a perfectionist and my nose turned out exactly how I wanted.

Not very attentive. Didn’t really pay enough attention to my medical issue to be able to offer useful advise.
This is really a cosmetic “chop shop”. If that’s what you’re looking for I’m sure it will do. There’s plenty of parking and the air conditioning in the building works pretty well. Just don’t expect any real medical care.

He’s the worst dr I ever seen in my life. For a small procedure for my nose he put a lot of lidocaine inside my nose. I told him before I can’t tolerate too much lidocaine. I had a very bad palpitation begging him to check my blood pressure but he said that they don’t have it and said that I AM NOT A CARDIOLOGIST! Anyway I got end up to have a heart attack and got hospitalized.

I had a Rhinoplasty done Jan 4th. I couldn’t recommend this Surgeon or him phenomenal team enough. From the very start, the ladies at the front desk were PHENOMENAL. They walked me through every step, helped me with every little thing along the way, even going as far as calling and making connections for me (I’m an out of Country patient) to ensure I could get the best price and quickest time. Dr. Aminpour was very professional and listened to my worries and my wishes for what I wanted for my dream nose. I appreciate how he was able to be realistic and honest with me. I appreciate how he was able to take what I had for a vision and combine his extensive knowledge and expertise to go into surgery with. I’m about 2.5 weeks post op and am extremely happy with the results.

This past week I visited Dr. Aminpour for the first time.
I was referred by my PCP after a visit to urgent care where I was diagnosed with Otitis Media and/ or a severe inner left ear infection that would not go away, even after a 10 day antibiotic prescription.

The obnoxious pain and discomfort would come in varying waves for weeks and seeing an ENT was my only hope of figuring out what the underlying issue was.

I don't normally write reviews but truthfully I have never had a better doctors visit in my life. The staff was simply amazing, very friendly and professional.

When I met Dr. Aminpour, he was extremely gracious with not only his time and concern for my problem, but he was determined to figure out the root cause of my issue. He set me up with a CT scan after several other ear, nose, and throat tests. The scan showed that I didn't have an inner ear infection, but rather symptoms of TMJ.

He explained that the compression of what's called "Arnolds nerve" was causing all the symptoms I had been feeling and it was due to grinding my teeth while I slept. He took the time to show me the scan, identified where my left jaw was slightly unhinged and also admitted that he had a similar issue in the past. Every symptom he explained he was spot on. He gave me advice on preventative steps on how to reduce the pain as well as a prescription for anti-inflammatory medication and advised I use a night guard while I sleep.

I am so grateful for his candor and care. During my visit he went above and beyond and I can't thank him and his staff enough.

I have a follow up with him in two months and I am looking forward to sharing my progress with him.

I am beyond thrilled with Dr. Aminpour and his staff! Dr. Aminpour performed Lower Blepharoplasty on my eyes last week and I will post before and after pics when they are completely healed so anyone considering using his services can see the amazing work he does.

The details. This was a REVISION surgery, as I originally had minor lower blepharoplasty 12 years ago with another surgeon. I've always had rather large eye bags for my age and I was curious to see if they could be "fixed. " Ultimately the other plastic surgeon had done a good job but over the years I've been tough on my eyes from many years of extremely long hours and overnights working my own small business. Desperate to fix my swollen eye bags for hopefully just one more time I began a lengthy search for the right cosmetic surgeon that was skilled and knowledgeable enough to perform what I wanted done, but also patient, kind and treated me like a wasn't "just another patient".

Dr. Aminpour specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries of only the face, head and neck so I felt confident I was getting someone who really concentrated in his field.

At my initial consultation Dr. Aminpour came off as professional and confident about what my particular case needed, but what also really struck me is his disarming and casual friendliness which I don't regularly see in doctors, and I felt like I could instantly trust him. He insists that he only does natural-looking surgeries, which also put me at ease because I wanted that fine line between a surgery that was good enough to last well into my old age but that wouldn't create the obvious fake plastic surgery look you've all seen.

The week preceding my procedure I got to know his staff better, and they are ALL wonderfully friendly and charming, and I really found myself enjoying coming to his office.

The surgery was seamless.and maybe this is only specific to me but I experienced barely any pain (and I didn't even take any painkillers). As I had mentioned before, I had lower blepharoplasty done before and I remember considerable swelling and pain on the days following. But Dr. Aminpour put this medical tape under my eyes and covering my cheeks which I guess serves as a healing support system.it was unbelievable.and just the fact that since this was a REVISIONAL surgery (which is a lot more extensive and complicated that the first time around) and I felt this good. I knew I had made the right decision to go with him!

A week later he removed my stitches and revealed to me my new eyes. I had to keep from shedding happy tears when I saw what he had done.my eyes looked so tight and smooth and EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED! And yes, there is still bruising and swelling as to be expected, but I no way imagined them to look this good this soon after the procedure!

I will be happy to post pics once I'm fully healed.

My wish is that anyone out there who is shopping around for blepharoplasty surgery to please consider Dr. Aminpour. He is EXTREMELY skilled at what he does and really takes the time to address your individual situation. I loved all the attention he gave me when I was there, and I didn't feel like just another number. He is genuinely caring and kind, and I valued how he took the time to explain to me what to expect along the way and even drew me diagrams!

Thank you for reading this lengthy review! Searching for a quality cosmetic surgeon can be daunting with all the options out here in southern CA. I'm just so thankful that I found Dr. Aminpour and trusted him with my face:)

On a side note, he also removed 3 sebaceous cysts from my head at the same time he did my eyes. I am so relieved to have those gone and the headaches that came with it. And he insisted on being so careful to work around my hair and save every bit so I wouldn't have any bald spots. Just amazing! I never would have imagined getting this personal touch from a doctor and I am beyond thrilled with the entire experience!

I never write reviews, but in this case I feel compelled to share my thoughts. My throat was very uncomfortable, they quickly fit me in the very next AM. The staff was great, the wait was literally a few minutes and Dr. Aminpour is thorough, pleasant, knowledgable and courteous. I could not have asked for a better experience, and his diagnosis was spot on, I felt MUCH better just a few days later. I would highly recommend.
