Dr. Smile, San Pedro CA

Ive been to numerous dental care places over the years in various countries. I was NOT expecting such a high tech spot in san pedro of all places! Pricing is fair and quality of work and service is TOP NOTCH. Irene is the gentlest and most skilled oral hygienist ive ever encountered and will booking with her exclusivley for my following annual visits. I am referring ALL my friends and customers here.

I have been going to Dr. Smiles in San Pedro for a few years now. The staff are professional in every way from the moment you walk in the office. The facility is very clean and their equipment is state-of-the-art. I am fortunate that they are right around the corner from my home but even if I had to travel to see them I would. This is a great group of people.

My 1st visit upon entering the staff was very friendly & everyone greeted me with a smile. It was a less painful process

I've only had good experiences here which is saying a lot for someone that hated going to the dentist.

I have experience a lot with this company, but over all l must say it is the greatest dental office I’ve ever visit. The staff is very professional and caring, and the doctors are very gentle. I will recommend all three of Dr Smiles offices (San Pedro, Lomita and Torrance) to all my relatives and friends…

To start with Jasmin the receptionist is ALWAYS so polite. I am a very nervous person I truly hate the Dentist. Had a deep cleaning on 6/20/23 Paulette who worked on my teeth was so AWESOME, she knows how SENSITIVE my teeth's are so she made sure she put enough medication so I wouldn't feel pain I soo Appreciate that. I also want to thank Dr. Sung & of course the young lady that calculate the price on the work I'll be having on my teeth's, sorry forgot to get her name but you know who you are ;-). My dental visit today was outstanding. Paulette is the best she's very thorough and your dental health is top priority. YOURE IN GOOD HANDS WITH DR SMILE! Front staff is very helpful. Would recommend!

Out of all the dental offices I have been too, this office is the best. They handled my son with so much care. I even had to make an appointment for myself. You will not be disappointed with their care.

Have you ever been in unending pain for over a week?

I was.

I went from dentist to doctor who could not give me treatment end this crushing pain that would prohibit me from sleeping more than 2 to 3 hours per night. I called specialists who told me I would have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to see a specialist. I was beginning to be filled with despair and hopelessness. This pain was consuming every waking and sleeping hour.

I called the Dr. Smile office in Newport Beach.

They quickly suggested that San Pedro may be closer.

I called San Pedro and I told them how much pain I was in. They asked if I could be there in an hour, they wanted to help. I was shocked and elated.

When I got there, I was greeted with warmth, concern and a deep willingness to help me.

Dr. K is nothing short of incredible. He is a first class renowned doctor and surgeon, but even more important, he deeply cares for his patients and I never felt more comfortable with any other doctor before. His competency and care are world class.

Moreover, they have invested in the state of the art technology and Dr. K shares the cutting edge science with every patient he works with. He provided me with therapies that I have never heard of and they work!

Last night was the first night I could actually sleep 8 hours without interruption. I awoke pain free and I cannot fully express the gratitude I have for Dr. K and his entire staff of professionals. I felt alive again.

I am sending all my dental records to my new friends at Dr. Smile. This is my new home for all my dental care, for my family and, hopefully, as many friends as I can share.

I never write reviews but I definitely had to write one for Dr Smiles! I have not been to the dentist in years because of bad experiences and comfortability but when I tell you my experience here was so welcoming, comfortable and informative. From the women in the front office “Jasmine” and “Debbie” for making me and my moms wait time entertaining with great conversation and welcoming attitudes. To the dentist assistants for taking their time with X-rays and making me comfortable. To the manager “Rebeca” and the dentist herself Dr. Sung for their clear and informative information and very welcoming and friendly attitudes. I would totally recommend that people go here please pleaaaaasse take my word for it! You will not be disappointed! Thank you so much everyone at Dr smiles for making my experience a GREAT one! They will forever be my go to dentist office. They were incredible!

At 5pm on a Friday I broke off about a quarter of a molar right before heading out on a cruise in the morning. The staff at Dr. Smile was super helpful in accommodating me in the somewhat urgent situation. They addressed the tooth situation and also made some other suggestions to follow up on with my hometown dentist. If I lived in the area, they would definitely be my dentist!
