Dr. Soroush Zaghi, MD reviews
11After years of seeking answers for our sons snoring, poor sleep, speech production delay, and swallowing issues we FINALLY found Dr. Zaghi. We went to multiple doctors within our insurance network, where we were dismissed or told nothing was wrong with our child. Dr. Zaghi listened to our 4 year old for less than 5 minutes and knew he had major airway obstruction. He provided us with comfort and the best, most thorough, information regarding our son so that we can make fully informed decisions for his care. Surgery was booked within 2 weeks of his consultation. He provides the best follow up care I have ever seen from a doctor. He allowed us to contact him day or night if we had concerns. Our timid 4 year old seemed to love him right away, and ran right into the operating room without hesitation! I never thought such a nerve wracking and worrisome experience could turn out to be so easy. Thank you Breathe Institute!
Doctor Zaghi did my son's tongue release. The procedure was quick and easy, and my son's recovery period was short and easy. He is a caring and attentive doctor and we are grateful for his help. His office and staff go above and beyond to make the overall experience a great one.
Dr. Zaghi performed my tongue tie release surgery. First of all, he is the nicest person and made me feel super comfortable before, during and after the surgery. My fiancé was with me when I had the surgery and met Dr. Zaghi as well. My fiancé said " I don't even need the surgery and I kind of want him to do surgery on me because he's so nice. " lol. I had been doing myofascial orofacial therapy working up to the surgery which I know he recommends. The amount of tension I had before the surgery in my upper back and neck versus what I have now is night and day. I have noticed my sleep has improved tremendously and anxiety isn't as bad, amongst other things that have improved. I am still doing therapy so I imagine I will continue to improve. His office staff is very friendly as well. Overall it was a pleasant and excellent experience. I highly recommend him.
LIFE CHANGING! My five year old son got a tongue and lip tie fixed a little over a month ago and had to go under general anesthesia and the entire team working on him was so beyond amazing and attentive. We saw immediate results! He now sleeps through the night and his speech and attitude has all improved drastically. These people and this procedure has really changed my whole family's life after not sleeping through the night for five years. We are now a happy, functional and well rested family and get to experience our child in a way we never thought possible. Thank you Dr. Zaghi, you have changed our entire life.
I brought my daughter for a lingual and labial frenuloplasty. Dr. Zaghi let me know that the labial would not be necessary. I really appreciated that he double checked that for us and did not make us go through unnecessary pain and surgery. We came all the way from the East Coast for his expertise and I was happy to see that it was worth the effort! Everyone in the office was very kind and careful to make my daughter comfortable and alleviate her anxiety. She is healing very well and her sleeping and breathing have already improved a lot not even a week out.
I traveled from Connecticut to California to have Dr. Zaghi complete a septoplasty and turbinate reduction. My experience with Dr. Zaghi and everyone at The Breathe Institute was so worth the investment of time and travel. The procedure and recovery were seamless. I'm extremely grateful to know Dr. Zaghi and his Team! I highly recommend Dr. Zaghi and The Breathe Institute - their expertise, empathy, and professionalism are incredibly impressive!
I tend to have chronic pain from higher tone, partly due to my congenital joint laxity but also due to a "tongue tie". My back is stiff as a rod and all the work I've done to improve it tended to result in injury or only temporary reductions in tone. Could never tolerate lying on my belly because it was suffocating.
I was first acquainted with Dr. Zaghi's research years ago as a result of courses with Mary Massery (PT) - who knew that a tiny little lingual frenulum has connections all the way to the foot, and huge implications on posture, chronic pain, breathing and sleep? I put off getting a consult as I'm out of country but the pandemic made it easier with Zoom making things more accessible. Definitely worth the consult as well as the cost to travel, complete the frenuloplasty as well as the pre/post rehab for it (with Pareya).
My muscle tone has reduced, general pain has reduced, I can move my thoracic spine with greater ease and can actually hang out lying on my belly before. I don't feel like my jaw is anchored down when trying to extend back anymore. Took a bit to get used to the initial instability but it's fine after a few weeks to retrain. Looking forward to seeing what I can achieve with my hobbies now that I'm not held back by this fascial restriction!
Our experience with Dr. Zaghi was amazing. From my first contact with his office to our last post-op visit, every step was handled perfectly. Each and every person I interacted with by phone or email was helpful, kind and incredibly responsive. We traveled from NY to have our son seen by Dr. Zaghi and returned two months later to have his surgery. There is no question he is the best in his field but what really struck us is his warm, kind bedside manner. He was so patient, answered all our questions and put our minds at ease. To top off the experience, we received a call the first night after our sons surgery from Dr. Zaghi himself. Thankfully he had no issues but if we did I wouldn't have hesitated to contact him at any point. When we went to his office for his first post op visit they had a special surprise for our son that blew us away and made our son SO happy!
If you want the best, go to Dr. Zaghi:)
I suffer from crippling UARS and Dr. Zaghi is one of a handful of medical providers in the US who understands and is able to treat this medical condition. I found his clinic after searching for 5+ years. I regained my life with his help, and I'm grateful for his research and practice. Thank you, Dr Zahgi!
Dr. Zaghi did a tongue tie release for my 4 yr old son. He was calm, patient, and caring during the procedure which put my son at ease. My son recovered very quickly from the procedure with no issues and since then there is noticeable improvement in speech and sleep breathing. The entire staff that we interacted with in scheduling, pre-meets, and assisting with the procedure were also very kind and helpful.
Highly recommend Dr. Zaghi and everyone at Breathe. I had a fantastic experience and would not hesitate to send friends and family to him.
