Dr. Nuccion is confident, clear in his diagnosis and advice, and an excellent surgeon. I am an avid cyclist and skier, and two years after Dr. N fixed my rotator cuff injury, I find the repaired shoulder holds up better than the other.

I am sure he may be a great surgeon. But I went to him 6 weeks ago and was told after my 30 second doctor visit that they were getting my insurance approval for a MRI, then I would be contacted. Well no one contacted me at all, no MRI either, but still pain and no use of shoulder. I'd like to thank his office staff and the 2 referral coordinators for keeping up with their new patients. I am not calling them back as I am tired of medical office staff failing, and then trying to cover themselves by making the patient look at fault. I have left 4 doctors before due to their office staff inadequacies, not one of them knows that, and I am positive those doctors wouldn't care anyways. For my shoulder, I will just find a new doctor. If it takes longer than 6 weeks for insurance to approve the MRI (the letter from doctor says maybe up to 14 days), I can only imagine any post care issues.

Dr Nuccion is the quintessential physician. He listens, cares and guides a patient based on what matters to the patient complimented by what’s the best medical treatment/plan. So far, I’ve avoided 2 surgeries due to his care and oversight.
