Dr. Takahiro Otsuka, MD, Victorville CA

I used to work with dr. Otsuka many years ago, now I am diabetic so I signed up with him, he is good to me but the service from his staff it’s horrible never returned the call, never answered the phone, it’s horrible I have to drive over to the office to get attention.

Left 3 messages to get a New Consult appointment and I never get a call back plus they never answer thier phones. No professional office would do this.

Horrible customer service. They never answer the phones. It is imposible to get an appointment. Called several days at different times and never got a response. Quickly changed my provider.

I've been coming to the doctor for 2 years now and I don't have a problem with it doctor is very nice the only problem is they never answer the phone never return your calls the place is really not that busy every time I go and they still don't answer the phone they need to improve that

I have never had a doctor that had a phone number that says; messages are full at this time. They don't return calls When you have a problem, I had an appointment and he wasn't there when I went in. I waited 3 months for this appointment. The communication between doctor and patient is terrible here.

Both times my mother had appointments we waited over an hour and a half past her appointment time to be seen. Totally unacceptable!

I followed his advice and my health has greatly improved. I wish I would have gone to him a long time ago.

First it was a act of god to contact his office since for days no one would answer the phone and their mailbox was full so I could not leave a message. Finally a friend who was a patient their was at his appointment was able to get me in contact with them. The first appointment was more than 5 weeks away. I finally had my appointment and was just given a order for blood work and told the doctor will call in you medication. After a month and no word I had to endure the same 20 phone calls trying to get ahold of them and when I finally did was told someone will call me with in 48 hours. You guessed it no call. When I called back a week later I was dismissed with my bloodwork was normal and they couldn’t help me. Madding!

I had a very favorable experience when I went for my appointment. He was great and the staff was very good.

Dr. Otsuka He is kind, compassionate, professional, and is always very interested and concerned about my health I would heartily recommend him to anyone. The stuff never answer the phone I try to call for several weeks and nothing I am going to go
to the office I left several messages. And no call back.

I'm not playing there games i had appt for the 12th of February and they canceled that kept trying to call and no answer so I went to a different thyroid Dr and the girl that talk had a good since of humor and really nice

Make sure you get there well before your appointment, because the doctor left at least 15 minutes in advance.

Have seen the Dr a good amount of times and never really had a problem with him himself and the staff is kind, but as far as trying to get ahold of the office over the phone is ridiculous. They never ever answer. Every time I and even my mom has called which was a lot, we never got an answer. It was always busy. Im 19 and type 1 diabetic and my whole pregnancy I had only seen him once. My follow up after that initial appointment was supposed to be over the phone and I never got a call. Yes I was still pregnant then. I was having to drive to the office physically after my OBGYN appointments to let them know that it was urgent that I see them once every two weeks. So I had FINALLY got that over the phone appointment after battling with insurance and then they never called me. That was the beginning of the year.

Hot in lobby and in the office been almost 2 hrs and still haven't seen the doctor. Never answer there phones. First time here and it will be my last.

Dr. Otsuka has been my Endocrinologist for several years. He is kind, compassionate, professional, and is always very interested and concerned about my condition and thoughts. He takes the time to answer all questions and is thorough. I would heartily recommend him to anyone.

Doesn’t speak good English hard understand. Tried for two weeks to get them to answer the phone it was always busy. And then when you could leave a message during lunch hour they didn’t call you back ever.

Dr. Otsuka intervened in my post thyroidectomy care and enabled me to have a treatment which was very successful. While it is often difficult to reach his office, Dr. Otsuka has been excellent regarding his professional services and care.
