Never again! It took 3 people, and put on hold 6 times to check on an order that I had an order number for! It literally took 15 minutes on the phone to check if my order was in store for pickup. None of the women were doing more than they had to, it seemed like they tried getting me off of the phone instead of locating my order.
Roseville ca fountains Dsw do better!

Always loved shopping here for shoes but my 2 last experiences were horrible to say the least. Both times because of the blonde cashier who was nice to the lady in front of us and discriminating towards my friend and I who purchased 3 pairs of shoes. My friend is a war refugee, young mom and I was buying shoes for her in an effort to brighten her day and so she doesn't wear only "hand me downs". The cashier proceeded to make fun of her attire (mind you Ukraine is a different country in a different Continent, with a differentculture!). It will take time for people of different culture to adjust to our lifestyle, but no, this lady wouln't
have it. She had to pick at the poor, young mom, be rude and humiliate her. On my next visit I dreaded to be served by her and indeed she was rude again. I also work in customer service business and believe this lady needs to be retrained and learn some manners.

Lots of styles and designer shoes at lower prices.
The store is very organized which makes it easier to shop.

Great selection of shoes for women at decent prices. The men's selection recently got worse. The men's selection is horrible now. A bunch of athletic shoes, a few sandals, a few hiking shoes, a very few dress shoes, and Crocs.

I purchased two pairs of New Balance shoes from DSW online. After wearing one pair for a couple of weeks, the shoe lace loop snapped. It appeared to not be stitched into place completely. I attempted to return them by getting an authorization online but was unsuccessful because (1) I wore them and (2) I didn't have the original box (lesson learned there.keep the box!). I was instructed to return them to the store. The store employee was very accommodating and refunded my original sale back to my card. I then repurchased the replacement pair. I've never had an easier return transaction anywhere. There was no question, no attitude. Just plain old good customer service. Way to go, DSW!

Just left this store a few minutes ago. I don't have any complaints about the store itself, but I am incredibly frustrated with the cashier.

When checking out she asked if we wanted a discount (implying for this purchase), and said she would sign us up for a "one day" membership to get the discount. While providing our information (home address, email address, phone number, etc.) I asked if we would be added to any mailing lists or receive ads, and she said no. After we finished providing our personal information she then said we would start getting coupons in the mail, despite telling us the opposite when I asked about this a moment earlier. I also observed there was no discount on the purchase, and she said the discount was for future purchases, not this one. So much for a discount and "one day" membership.

I've worked in retail myself and I understand employees need to meet goals, including things like signing customers up for membership programs. But lying to customers to get them to sign up is not okay.

I wish I could give the cashier a 5 star. Her name was not on my receipt but she is a blonde woman who in chatting has an aesthetician license. She was so helpful and pleasant. Even with a line forming she gave me amazing customer service. I found it so weird that the other staff, manager included allowed for her the be the only cashier. One manager was literally stocking only 2 feet away from where there were 15 people in line. The staff walked the floor putting shoes away never looking up, smiling or greeting the customers. Why are you in a customer service job if you hate working with the public. I hope this review gets that blonde woman acknowledged and the other people working on Sunday, March 12, get sat down and reminded that they don't have to continue to work there. Looking at the reviews this seems like a normal occurrence to experience rude and unpleasant workers.

Left sensor on my shoes and made me feel completely uncomfortable with the experience there. The cashier that helped me was very kind to the caucasian women she was helping ahead of me, then as it became my turn she was very cold towards my children and I and kept repeating the return policy. No one was on the floor to help either.
