Gotta say this place is not great. Who tf said "yea this restroom setup works great"? The owner? Has to be. Lets understaff the bar and design a terrible layout for a bar. 5 stars for execution boss, hope you build a DMV soon so it can reflect your ideas!

The owner is so rude and nasty. I came to play pool and order drinks, and within less than 5 minutes of sitting down yelled at us to leave if we weren’t going to order anything. Can’t even give us 5 minutes to settle in. The place was empty too. From other reviews it seems the manager has had a poor ego and attitude in the past.

So a 70 year old dive bar is still a great dive bar. I may have been there in the 80's about a thousand times.
And still Enjoy it today.

Great evening crowd with lots of vibe and energy. With pool, foozeball, darts and shuffleboard there is fun to be had. Also they just opened the adjacent Tiki bar!
I stop here when traffic on the way home is bumming me out

The worst bartender experience I have ever encountered. We walked in and gave out IDs and ordered drinks. My friend ordered a green tea shot and the lady behind the bar just looked at my friend in disgust and said “I’ll have to get to you after everyone else orders” most of us ordered beers and then a girl in our party order a mai tai and she again just looked with disgust and said “I am NOT making you a mai tai” and then later said “MAI TAI GIRL” and just was seriously so rude. I understand there are regulars here but we heard such good things about this bar and the lady bartender was so disgustingly rude I will DEFINITELY not be coming back I was so turned off. She’s lucky we even tipped her. We were all super polite and easy but she was so rude from the moment we walked through those doors. I will be expressing to others not to give that business when the Shanty is less than 100 yards away and way more friendly and inviting. Super disappointed.

Initially i truly enjoyed the bar its overall pretty good however i left my ID there and when i returned for it I was advised it had been thrown away by the owner because he assumed it was a fake. I asked how they tested it that they decided to throw it away and they said they didn’t test it, just thought it looked fake. It feels almost illegal and has caused a greater issue for me so for that alone i wont be going back

Great dive bar and hidden gem hangout. Glad I found it. Bartender “Brooklyn” is super high on the awesome meter. Great addition to the staff!

This used to be my favorite bar of all time. But things have changed and don’t waste money on a playing song because if it doesn’t fit the music of their patrons they will 100% skip your music.

Local hang with honest patrons and bartenders. I left my credit card at the office on Friday night at the bar. I returned on Saturday to retrieve the credit card and Frank the bartender found my card and I was glad to get it back.

Just skip it. Not worth it at all. Horrible service. Rude owner. Place is dirty and smells like mold.

Good selection of brews, But, no food. Ok yes a dive, but also vibe and more friendliness is found at shantys.

Awesome bar with a great layout. There are lots of pockets to hang out and enjoy with friends. I come here pretty often and the bartenders are always amazing and super friendly. Drinks are great. The vibe is super laid back and beachy. I always bring friends and guests here - it’s the best local bar

Some of these one star reviews are absurd. If you're nice and cordial the locals and the bartenders are receptive and your biggest fan. This is a bar where you get what you put into it. It's a fantastic place with great people. People from all facets of life. It's a dive bar, it's local and it's for you. Just be nice.
