Dumpling Kitchen reviews
15Very good place for lunch, love the Shanghai dumpling, shrimp dumpling and the onion package. There are a lot more to explore. Reasonable price
Idk if I had a bad batch of food but the dumplings and the chicken entree I ordered were inedible. It was too salty to eat and just tasted like salty chili oil. I’ve never been able to not eat food I’ve ordered from a place. It was on a Tuesday during lunch so maybe it was a different cook than normal?
Absolutely amazing, don’t let the long wait times scare you away. Excellent dumplings as expected. The Mongolian beef was incredibly tender and juicy with all of the veggies cooked to perfection. We also had wontons in chili sauce and were delicious, The Sichuan peanut noodles were good but since they were served first, they tasted so bland after the other entrees came out. Fast and friendly service, can’t wait to come back! We want to try the chow mein and fried rice next.
Tips: They have a waiting list get on it on your wait there, it gets packed. I tasted their sweet vinegar ribs and their dumplings, they were really good, you can expect to spend around 15$ a plate, and they have good service
Overrated, mediocre at best. Used to live in Shanghai and this place imitates the looks but none of the tastes. The most insulting is how they serve the fried dough 油条, the cheapest Chinese street food, cut up in a tiny tray and charging your dearly for it.
Absolutely delicious! Dumpling kitchen has fantastic food at reasonable prices. The soup dumplings and salted custard egg bao buns were both incredible. Definitely coming back to Dumpling Kitchen when I visit SF again!
Loved it. Neighborhood dumpling spot with a varied menu of awesomeness. Casual. The vinegar spareribs were a standout as were the soup dumplings. The siu mai is great but my favorite dish was the fried pork bun. Familiar but also kind of extra.
Such a delight the restaurant is small but loved the atmosphere. The food was amazing! Highly recommend visiting this place if you want delicious food! The waiter remembered everything we wanted by memory and that was very impressive!
First time at Dumpling kitchen. Excellent service, wonderful food All for a decent price. I would recommend it to anybody who is looking for some good dumplings. The port were also amazing. I am new to the area, and had a very warm welcome.
Fantastic.lived here all my life and never been here until the other night with my wife. Took the waiters suggestion and had the homemade lasagna and wasn't disappointed.will be back again for sure.
Caution! The steamed pork and Napa dumpling is raw. Pan fried buns’s raw as well. The customer service is good but the food quality is medium low scores. XLB is not transition too
It’s ok here. Not my favorite dumpling place in the city and the other plates are decent. To be honest I didn’t like the type of rice cake they used so I wasn’t able to enjoy my favorite dish that I normally order elsewhere. Also my friends and I agreed that their mixture of meat for the XLB seemed off. Can’t tell you what it was but the texture was not like XLBs we are used to eating. Once again, wherever I go a cucumber salad always makes it into our table! That was ok too.
First time going, and honestly I will be going again. Fast delivery of food, and everything tasted wonderful. Staff we friendly and helpful when we asked what the styles meant. I love that you can see them making every order since they make it in a see through box. I will order something differently next time to continue trying everything out.
I really enjoy the food here and I've come here for years but the kids running the place and taking orders need some more training. Come here for good food but not good service. BtW highly recommend the Shanghai pan-fried dumplings.
