Dutchman's Seafood House, Morro Bay CA

Chowder was good, but the add on crab was an absolute rip off - a thumbnail worth of absolutely obliterated sawdust-like crab for $7. Fish tacos were on par with a fast food chain. Unimpressed. Young lady at the front however was very pleasant.

Amazing food! Grilled cheese sandwiches will never be the same! Decent prices, awesome service, great views of the bay and rock.

Pricey, food is okay. Got it mixed up with Hofbrau. The views are beautiful and the employees are great.

We had a great little table right next to the window overlooking the bay, servers were happy to seat us. The daily special was halibut fish and chips and they were amazing! So fresh and crispy, great value for 18.95. The clam chowder was incredible as well, especially mixed with the fish and chips. Great margaritas too. I recommend this place on your stop in Morrow Bay!

This place is the best! Every visit to morro bay I make sure I eat here. The fire cracker shrimp is SO good and the chowder bread bowl is the best! They have the best views of the water and the rock and Also they have the cleanest bathrooms on the street of all the shops.

Very nice staff, and great service. I don't eat fish, but the chicken salad was really good, I'm glad they had something I could eat.

Clean lobby and dining room. Great food, and good service. Overall good experience. Great local seafood spot. Be sure to try the Halibut if you're a fan of fish and chips.

Was on a highway Coast trip stopped off here and had the muscles which were excellent and a good glass of local beer. Bartender was a tentative and gave good recommendations the only bad thing and it wasn't worth marking a star off was that the cheese bread I ordered was not very good.

My wife & I had the Fish & Chips it was delicious! Nice view of the Morro Rock. Friendly staff we would definitely come back to the Dutchman.

Was recommended by hotel staff a short walk away. They were busy and we had a 15 minute or so wait for our party of 8. Food was average, service was good, view spectacular! Would definitely return

Had a great view to watch two seals & an otter play. Food was hot & delicious. Waitress was very pleasant & helpful. Dog friendly in an enclosed, heated patio.

Call ahead or expect a wait. Wheat/gluten and animal milk allergies limited my choices but there are options. I chose fruit because the Central Coast fruit is so tasty in this area. I wasn't disappointed. Waiter substituted fruit for fries with the kid's meal at my child's request. Ocean front view. Our table gave us a clear view of Morro Rock and the harbor. A fishing boat was at the pier next to the restaurant unloading the catch of the day to the delight of shore birds and sea lions. Which delighted children and adults alike to watch during our visit.
