Dylan Point Loma Apartments reviews
13I’ve lived in Dylan Point Loma for 6 months now, and I can’t say enough good things about it. Not only is my apartment spacious and beautiful, the amenities are outstanding! The only thing better is the staff. The management crew as well as the maintenance and custodial crew are incredible! They are kind, helpful, and quick. They truly care about the complex and its residents. I honestly never want to live anywhere else!
Visited a friend of mine who moved in about a year ago. I love point Loma and this is a nice location for the appts. Close to restaurants, schools and sea world. Not sure if the rent but worth a look
Great experience from the moment I have went to see the apartments. Simon kept us informed and up to date thru the entire process. Ms. Liz and Lauren were so helpful and informative. Great team!
Lived here 2 years, many things stolen in the gated lot included vehicles. Not worth the price for the location.its in the slum of Midway by bus stops 7-11s and sports arena. Homless screaming nightly.
Truly enjoyed my experience here at Dylan Point Loma. I came from a house to apartment living so getting reacclimated to having people live above and below me was a little rough. However my neighbors and the community was great.
Liz and Simon (leasing office), Ray and Joe (Maintenance team) were top notch. They always greeted my son and I with a wave and knew us by name. Amenities were great, however I wished that I got to experience them more, however this thing called COVID stopped that.
Note there is no carpet in the living space so you can hear the footsteps of those above and yours for your neighbors below. Outside of that, beautiful dog/kid friendly complex, that i was glad to call home.
Lived for over a year. Fantastic place. Great experience. Shout out to Liz in the leasing office who helped us with everything. I never thought I would live in an apartment at my age but this place did not feel like an apartment. It’s the only apt I would live in. Great location great people and great amenities. Sorry we had to leave. If your going to live in Point Loma this is where you want to live. Great location and beautiful property. Very safe and family friendly.
Fyi to all leasing agaents etc. New law came into effect that nobody can refuse rental inquiries if the person is on Section 8.
I lived here for a bit over two years and the apartments were great! The staff was friendly and very helpful in dealing with any kind of problems. The only hit I have for it was that the pool and hot tub were closed for the last year I lived there (due to COVID 19) which was very disappointing when I got back from a 6 month deployment overseas.
Upscale living including all amenities when things are back to normal. Pool, jacuzzi, gym, dog park, office staff cordial, Office Mgr. Exceptional. Every attempt is made to keep everyone feel comfortable.
Great apartments and beautiful amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great location to all things fun!
Management here is not good. No empathy. Parked in complex after resident girlfriend and I drove around everywhere looking forward parking. Since the neighborhood is sketchy and we have luggage to carry for our trip the following day, we decide to park in the complex and not risk getting robbed, then move the car in the morning before our flight.
Complex had our car towed! Only residents have access to enter the complex so they should know it’s not some random person parking there. It’s totally unprofessional and unsafe considering the scary people always walking around the complex.
Do not live here. The neighborhood is bad and with two 7-11s on the same block, there are scary people everywhere and management could care less! Overpriced as well. I’ve lived in San Diego for 15 years and you’ll find much better apartments in better neighborhoods for cheaper.
Since we’re flying out for a week, our car with be in the tow yard for 7 days. This will cost us $1000 during a time when one of us has being laid off due to COVID. Dylan Apartments is an awful place.
I have lived here for almost 3 years and have loved it! The events the leasing office plans are really fun, Ray the maintenance guy is on top of his game and always goes above and beyond what he is asked to do. He is also such a delight to have around the apartments. Very funny and always asks how you are. He makes this complex feel fun and safe to live in. Thank you Ray! ️
I have been a resident at the Dylan Point Loma for about three months. I moved in the middle of the covid quarantine and I must say, I have never been more thoroughly impressed than I was by the level of service and professionalism Liz Caldero provided me. She instantly made me feel like I was at home and you can tell that I wasn't just another transaction or another client. She invested the time needed to answer all of my questions and she made me feel warm and positive in a time of so much adversity. Thank you Liz, for having a vested interest in all of your residents- The Dylan Point Loma is lucky to have you.
